8: Kill him

1215 Words

Back at the dragon clan "There's been no news sadly." Delvin informed Millie with a small bow, careful not to upset her, knowing that was impossible. "What?!" She banged her hand against her table in her cottage. The tea rack fell to the floor and the glass shattered. Millie was a pale woman, possessing the appearance of a ghost. Anger did not make it any better for her. "Falkor promised me the boy was capable!" She raised her voice like Falkor was not in the room with them. "And he is. Just because the papers have no news means nothing. Have you considered they could be keeping it a secret? Why would they want everyone to know here's a death plague?" He sighed but Millie wasn't listening. Her dragon wings sprouted even before she fully shifted, as she made her way out of the cottage.
