Asher had accepted me in front of all of my friends. Sorren gave him one last hard look, the look that said if Asher hurt me there would be hell to pay. I smiled proudly at him, I knew I put him on the spot, but it was the only thing I could think of that would de-escalate the situation from the horror show it was turning into.
