TABITHA I had run to my secret place, a place only a few knew about. This was a place Willa and I used to come to as children when we needed to escape. The tears had stopped falling, I quickly wiped my eyes so they were dry and took a few deep breaths. The moment I started to breathe deeply, it began to feel strange, not the kind of strange I felt when Asher and I touched when we discovered we were mates.
