11 - Morning Run

Alexandria      Brady snuggling against my body didn't stop me from feeling discouraged about the possibility of him choosing a mate trio.  However, he woke me up in the sweetest way, and I could quickly feel my sadness about the situation start to dissipate.       I woke up to Brady softly caressing my cheek, and those wonderful sparks made my cheek tingle in the most tantalizing way.  As soon as my eyes fluttered open,  he continued to caress me cheek and smiled, as he lovingly murmured, "Good morning, beautiful mate of mine.  I prepared a nice breakfast for you."     I flashed a smile at him, as I blinked my eyes a few times to help them adjust, then I looked around and groggily mumbled, "Good morning, Brady.  What time is it?"     "It's time for you to eat this wonderful breakfast," he happily chirped.     I giggled at my cute mate, then I sat up and smoothed the blanket over my legs, before I cheekily replied, "I'm ready for that delicious smelling food."     After Brady handed me my plate of food and a glass of orange juice, he positioned himself beside me, then we sat together and enjoyed the delicious food.  He cooked such a nice breakfast for me, and I thought it was such a sweet gesture.  I was a little surprised by how good of a cook he was, but I made sure not to let it show, because I didn't want to hurt his feelings or something.     When we were done eating, I took my nightgown off, then I pulled on my dark purple sundress.  Once I was done changing, I walked into the bathroom and ran the brush through my hair, before I pulled it up in a high ponytail.     After I finished with my hair, I walked back into Brady's bedroom to find him looking at himself in a tall mirror that was fastened to his wall.  He looked handsome as always with his beige, khaki shorts and a dark blue t-shirt.  When he noticed me standing behind him, his smile widened before he curiously asked, "Are you ready for this run?"     "I am beyond ready," I cheekily replied and earned a little chuckle from Brady.     Right away, a pleasant chill ran down my spine in response to hearing his husky chuckle, and there was no hiding the arousal that it initiated within me.  Brady sniffed the air, then he flashed me a smirk and huskily asked, "Are you sure you don't want to stay here and enjoy some quality alone time?"     I flashed him a sheepish smile, before I timidly responded, "I don't think I'm ready for that, mate."     "It was worth a try," he nonchalantly replied with a shrug of his shoulders, then he held his hand out to me.     I was quick to accept his hand, then we left his bedroom.  On our way to the front door, Brady informed his parents of our plan to go for a run, then we headed to Andre's cottage.     When we got there, we found Andre and Lacy sitting on the porch, and they immediately beamed wide smiles at us.  I could tell they were excited about going on a run together, and that made me happy.       After we all exchanged greetings, we went behind different trees, then we shifted into our werewolf forms.  I was one of the lucky hybrids who shifted at an earlier age, and I was happy about that.  When I stepped out from behind the tree, I gazed at the other three wolves.     Andre's wolf was dark silver with white ears and a patch of white on the top of his head.  Lacy's wolf was the smallest.  She had dark brown fur with silver paws and the tip of her ears were also silver.  Brady's wolf was the largest with beautiful, chocolate brown fur, and his front paws were jet black.         Right away, Brady walked over to my midnight black wolf with silver streaks, then he affectionately licked the top of my head, and I could feel those amazing sparks flow between his wolf's tongue and my fur.  I liked that his wolf and my wolf were already connecting with each other, and I was hoping his wolf would help convince him to give our trio a fair chance.     As soon as Brady stopped licking my head, we followed Andre and Lacy to a running path they had made over the years, then we enjoyed a nice run together.  We ran for a few hours straight, and they made sure to show me the border around the entire territory.  I was thankful for the tour of the border, since I didn't want to accidentally cross it and get attacked by rogues.     It felt great to run in my wolf form, and I knew my wolf Alice was also happy to be let loose for a little bit.  She had been pacing in my head ever since we found our mates, and I felt bad for her.  She felt the same way I felt.  She wanted to keep both of our mates, but Brady was holding us back, and it was upsetting her just as much as it was upsetting me.     After we shifted back into our human forms, we had lunch with Andre and Lacy.  It was nice to hang out with them, and I kept Lacy talking to me almost the whole time we were there.  Lacy and I were quickly becoming friends, and I couldn't have been happier about it.       I needed somebody in this pack that I could talk to, and Lacy seemed like the perfect candidate.  Not only was she more or less family, she was super sweet, and she seemed to have a pretty chill personality.       When we were done eating, Lacy and I cleaned up the kitchen, while Andre and Brady sat down in the living room and had their own conversation.  As soon as they left the kitchen, Lacy turned to me and sheepishly asked, "What happened between you and Brady last night?"     I furrowed my eyebrows at her and asked, "What do you mean?"     "Andre's Aunt Chelsea mind linked him last night and asked if he knew what had you so upset that you started crying," she timidly explained.     I released a sigh of annoyance, then I explained my dilemma to her.  I could tell she wasn't sure what to say in response, and that was okay.  By the time I finished explaining everything, we were done with the kitchen cleanup, so we decided to join our mates in the living room.     Brady and I hung out with them for a few more hours, then we headed back to Brady's house.  On the way there, he curiously asked, "How would you like to spend the rest of the day?"     "Snuggling with you," was all I said in response, as I shrugged my shoulders.     Brady chuckled at my response, then he snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me against his side.  Instantly, I melted against him and smiled, as we finished walking the rest of the distance to his house.
