Prologue
Thanks for showing interest in my story! This is Book 4 of the Silver Moon Series. I recommend reading the earlier stories so there is no confusion. ;)
Alexandria
I had a great puphood while growing up under the protection of the Forest Pack. It was great to have peace of mind, and not have to worry about getting attacked by rogues, like it used to be when my dad was a pup.
Almost everybody still participated in battle training, since our pack was often times called upon to assist other packs. So far, my dad had always refused to let me join them in battle, but he made sure I was well prepared if I were to ever find myself in a battle, or a bad situation in general.
I grew up with the biggest crush on our Alpha's son Devon. In fact, every female in my age group grew up with a crush on him. He was the cutest werewolf in our pack, not to mention, he was filled with confidence, but he didn't act like a total egotistical ass.
When my cousin Bethany spent some time with us before she met her fated mate at the Celebration of Mates, Devon was so infatuated with her. He tried to keep it a secret, but everybody around could clearly see that he had a thing for her. However, when he tried to pursue her, Bethany was adamant about both of them finding their mates.
I could tell Bethany had a little bit of a crush on him, but she was very mature for her age, and she knew what she wanted, and that was to find one of her mates. She had two mates because she casted a mate spell when she was a teenage pup. It was the same spell that my Aunt Andrea made and casted when she was also a pup.
The spell was a blessing for both of them, so Jasmine asked Bethany about the spell, and our cousin was happy to explain it to us. It didn't need any special herbs, and we had plenty of flowers to collect flower petals from, so Jasmine and I casted the spell, in hopes of getting our happy ending with one of our mates.
Jasmine listed off all the traits that she liked the most about Devon, whereas I mixed it up. I listed a few of Devon's traits, like his black hair and full lips, then I listed a few of Brady's traits, like his sweet scent and deep voice. In addition to that, I listed having the Beta title, gold eyes, and a good sense of humor. I always loved to have a good laugh.
Brady was the werewolf that I had the second biggest crush on. He was the son of Ace and Shelly from the Silver Moon Pack, and he was gorgeous in my eyes. Not only that, his voice was enough to make me weak in the knees, and his scent always seemed to tickle my nose is the most pleasing way.
He had the most beautiful baby blue eyes, and his brown hair looked so soft, I always found myself wanting to reach out and touch it. However, I never acted on that urge. I'm sure he would have been my biggest crush if we lived in the same pack and saw each other almost every day.
After we casted the mate spell, Jasmine and I watched a gust of wind whirl around us with the flower petals also whirling around us, then the wind pulled the flower petals up into the air above us. A second later, the flower petals split into two different directions and disappeared. Everything happened exactly as Bethany said it would, and I was confident we had casted the mate spell correctly.
Brady
I grew up with the Silver Moon Pack, and I was glad to grow up in a pack that was protected by a spell. My dad's bestfriend Andrea along with our Luna and several other hybrids in our pack casted the spell before I was born, and it allowed all of us to live peaceful lives.
Ironically, I ended up being bestfriends with one of Andrea's sons. His name was James Jr., and we spent a lot time together when we were pups. He had the prettiest sisters and the prettiest cousins, but he was so protective of his family, I never admitted to him how much I adored his older sister Bethany and his cousin Alexandria.
I also refused to let myself develop feelings for Bethany, because I knew she had a crush on Jackson from the Twisted Moon Pack. She never talked to me about it, but I could see it in her eyes whenever she looked at him.
Alexandria, on the other hand, I mentioned her being pretty one time, and he thought that was hilarious. He made sure to remind me how strong and ferocious his uncle was, and I never said another word about it after that. Of course, that didn't stop me from admiring her beauty, whenever they visited our pack.
She had shiniest jet black hair, and I could lost in her stunning light brown eyes. She had the prettiest smile that could light up a whole room, and her scent had a weird way of making me feel calm whenever she was near me. I couldn't exactly explain it, but I felt like there was some kind of connection between us, but I didn't think it was a mate connection, because I wasn't sixteen, so I couldn't feel that connection yet.
I hoped she might be my mate, but I knew not to get my hopes up too much. I didn't want to end up completely disheartened if she ended up being mated to somebody else.
Instead of chasing the shewolves in my age group, I put my focus on battle training and hanging out with James Jr. We had a lot of fun when we hung out together, and I could talk to him about anything, except for my two biggest crushes.
As for battle training, I was one of our strongest warriors that didn't hold a high title, and I was very proud of that fact. I worked hard to keep myself strong, and I paid close attention to our training sessions. I was ready to take on anybody that threatened me, my mate, my family, or my pack.

I was raised at the Pine Tree Pack, when Stefan and Jeanette were still the Alpha and Luna. After their son Darren was killed by a stalactite, his former Luna, Bethany handed the Alpha title over to Gavin, who was our Beta at the time. He ended up offering me the title of Beta, and I happily accepted it.
I didn't spend a lot of time hanging out with the pack members, because most of my extra time, I spent running through the forest doing border patrols, or practicing my battle techniques with anybody who wanted to practice with me. I kept myself in perfect fighting condition, and I was ready to defend our pack at all costs.
I was running around the training grounds one evening when a gust of wind whipped around me and dropped a handful of flower petals at my feet. I reached down and picked up the prettiest light pink flower petal, then I sniffed the petal to see what type of flower it was.
However, I was met with the most tantalizing scent that consisted of strawberries and pumpkin, then the prettiest she-wolf I had ever seen in my life appeared in my mind. She had the lightest brown eyes, and her jet black hair perfectly framed her pretty face.
I wasn't sure what to think about the whole thing. I felt like there was something behind the flower petals, and the mysterious she-wolf popping into my mind, but I had no clue what it could be. I just knew that I felt an overwhelming need to go in search of the beautiful she-wolf.
However, that was not an option with everything that was going on with the pack. I needed to be with my pack, in case anymore rogues tried to attack us again. Instead, I asked Alpha Gavin to plan on me attending the future Celebration of Mates until I found my mate.
After seeing what happened between Darren, Bethany and Valerie, I had no desire to go chasing after any random she-wolves. I didn't want the problems that would stem from such a volatile situation, so I wasn't having any of that nonsense.
