Landyns POV
One second, I have a gun pointed directly at me, and the next Maureen has teleported us outside of the pack house.
I was bent over on the ground, actually puking this time. My nerves were shot.
Maureen bent down frantically, searching me over for any wounds. "I'm fine, I'm fine. I swear. We got out just in time. I don't know how, but we did."
She pointed towards my shoulder."Really? Your bleeding Landyn."
I touched where my wound was and hissed out in pain. Man it hurts like a b***h.
Maureen ripped the bottom of her shirt and pressed it against my wound. "I think the bullet was made out of silver. Let go see Lily so she can heal you up before you go see your mate. We don't need Ella freaking out. I'm sure she's been freaking out enough."
"Yeah, you're probably right."
