When I heard the wolf mention Maureen, i stood there in shock, and by the expression on his face, that's exactly what he wanted. He knew I would know who she was. It was almost like he wanted me specifically to know that he was looking for her.
At first, I thought he was shocked to see me here. Maybe that's not the case at all. They were hoping i would be here.
I was grateful they weren't looking for Ella and Brent, but it didn't make me feel any better that they were looking for another woman I cared about.
