Aaron’s POV
My body froze in place as I watched Valerie talk to someone from my spot between the trees. Thankfully, her sense of smell wasn’t as strong as mine and I could observe her without her realizing that I was there. Lifting up my nose in the air, I tried to figure out who she was talking to, but only one scent filled my nose—the scent of a rogue.
“See? I told you she’s bad news!” Shadow barked in my head.
Shaking my head, I narrowed my eyes at her. “What on earth are you doing with a rogue, Val?”
“Are you kidding me? Isn’t it obvious, Aaron? She’s conspiring with them! It’s just like we heard Alpha Vance tell us and what we experienced with the rogues in the park! She’s the culprit!” my wolf yelled at me angrily.
