Aaron was scheduled to take two days off, but within a couple of hours after he left the mansion, I couldn’t help but feel his absence plague me. He claimed that he needed to attend to some errands and personal matters, but I couldn’t help but feel that he needed to leave because of me.
The bodyguard that Aaron assigned to me was a nice, polite young man and when I told him to relax in the employee quarters since I wasn’t planning on going anywhere, he agreed. So, in a way, I was free.
However, I had to admit, when Aaron left, leaving me alone with Eric, I felt a tad afraid. I missed Aaron’s reassuring presence and the way he made me feel safe and protected. I
