Aaron’s POV
My eyes glanced at Mia who was politely giggling with a group of businesswomen. As if she felt me looking, she tucked her hair behind her ear and turned around briefly to look at me with a smile. Deep down, I had a gut feeling as to why the Alpha was beckoning me, but as I gazed upon my mate, I felt reluctant to meet him. However, he was still the Alpha and I was still a werewolf bound to him, so when he used his Alpha voice on me, I had no other choice but to submit.
“Okay, Alpha. I will come over to the pack once I make sure my client is safe in her hotel room,” I replied with a sigh.
“Good. Mind-link me once you’re here and don’t disappoint me at the last minute, Aaron,” Alpha Ryan warned before ending our connection.
