Chapter 5

Alvin's POV After I c*m in the mouth of the slut kneeling before me, I dropped her aside and went toward the bathroom to clear myself. I'm the Alpha King but my beast Ryder was at his edge for not being able to find a mate for centuries. He was fury. Rough s*x with some sluts of mine was hard to appease him anymore. Ryder screamed for MATE. Our Mate. He thought I didn't want to find her? I punched the wall to shut him up after I turned off the shower. I walked out to find that slut was still in my room, naked, boldly flirting with me through her eyes. "Alpha-" "OUT!" I harshly demanded, not giving her one more glance. No one could stay overnight here. I f*ck women but I would never adore any of them. Love brought trouble only. "Because they're not our Mate." Ryder huffed in my head. "Shut up, Ryder." I snarled at him, "I've already demanded all the packs to select suitable brides for us. We'll find her soon." "Hope so." To ease my beast, I knew I had to go out for a run. Only to the Sacred Wall, could he be eased a bit. I never liked our argument about that unknowing mate. It could only mess with my mind. Finding her for me was only to anchor my beast. I'd gotten used to f*****g women freely over the centuries, and being my mate didn't mean she was in a position to bind me. If she was lucky to fit my liking, I didn't mind giving her the title of my Luna. I would allow her to carry my pups. But beyond that, I would give nothing for her. Ryder had different opinions but I didn't bother to argue with him again. I am the Alpha King and I would make the rules myself. It was right at that moment, I smelled an amazing fragrance. "We should follow it." Ryder urged excitedly. I followed the scent and caught a strange woman at the entrance. The second I touched her, I felt my pulse beating erratically. She looked escaping hazardous as she was breathing frantically. The spark I felt from the touch, I wouldn't mistake it for anything. "MATE! We finally found her!" Ryder kept jumping around in my head, bringing out its tongue and wagging its tail. I rolled my eyes. "She is also a trespasser!" I growled out in anger and the next second, the woman weakly passed out in my arms. "She's beautiful," Ryder spoke in my head as the moonlight shone on her face. "Just another woman to f**k!" I sneered. Ryder might be wrong because I felt no bravery of a wolf from her. Ryder sulked and went to the back of my head. I took her to the pack's infirmary where the doctor came to check after her. Her wounds were still fresh even as she was a wolf. "Why isn't she healing?" I asked Doctor Blaire and she only smiled, saying she would after taking a good rest. I shouldn't stay but that stupid appealing bond me there. After centuries, I finally found her yet she was totally not what I would have imagined. Poor and dirty, almost a nothingness. Her lips were pale pink and her rosy cheek was dull. Her eyelashes were dusty too. I felt this possessiveness and overprotectiveness arising as my eyes came into sight of her still-fresh wounds. Though I got another dress to cover her fragile-looking body, I still felt like killing as I remembered the bruises on her body. No one should dare to touch my thing! But back then, why was she around the Sacred Wall? An outsider shouldn't know there. Was she a spy sent by my enemies? "I have a mission for you." I mind-linked my Beta Zach. After I disconnected from the mind link with Zach, I looked back at the woman in the bed. When she was still conscious before, I felt her Blue eyes burn me, igniting hotter flames. But she seemed empty. I didn't have enough time to recognize if she felt any spark from my touch. On the one hand, I hoped that Ryder was mistaken. Such a weak woman shouldn't be our mate. On the other hand, I hoped that she would wake up soon to call me MATE to satisfy the longing of my wolf. "Argh!" I groaned, leaving the room at last with all willpower. "Get me doctor Blaire," I ordered, walking to my study. Soon, a knock sounded from outside the door and Doctor Blaire came in and bowed slightly in respect. No one wants to look the demon in the eyes, just as expected of them. "When is she waking up?" I went straight to the point not liking to be delayed. I have other things to do. "This evening, Alpha," Blaire answered and I nodded. "Well...Tom..." I called using the mind link. "Yes, Alpha." The warden replied respectfully. "A prisoner would be discharged from the infirmary by evening," I deadpanned, "You would lock her up till I want her released." I felt Ryder threaten me from the back of my head but it isn't a problem. No matter how nice she smelt, she remained a trespasser. I would not tolerate it if she was coming to harm my kingdom.
