Chapter 6

881 Words
Jemima's POV I woke up to find myself imprisoned. I cried for help but no one replied to me until the locked door opened and a tall warrior entered. Immediately I realised I got in big s**t. "The Alpha King demands to see you." Alpha King? How could I be in his hands? I remembered that I had run away from Alexander and swum across the river and accidentally found a cave. I felt my head mess up as more memories came back to me until I remembered the face of that man who captured me. He was holly handsome and powerful, and my heart felt like stop beating at that moment. But the anger in his eyes was clear too. Was it he who sent me to Alpha King? I was not strange to those cruel stories about this Alpha King. It was said he had lived for centuries and he was brutal, especially for enemies and slaves. Had I done anything wrong to annoy him? Had they learned that I was the runaway bride? Many bad thoughts crept into my mind. Until the warrior pushed me forward did I realise we arrived at the King's chamber. I looked ahead to recognise the man who captured me was the King. He looked far more charming and younger than the rumor but the scene before me pissed my blood. A scantily dressed woman was sitting on his lap, rubbing her full breasts against his chest while erotically moving her plump hips up and down. I was old enough to realise what they were doing. I just had no idea why I got annoyed. I felt like dragging that woman away and tearing her apart for she dared to touch something that should belong to me! Belong to me?! I was shocked by my sudden thought. What was I thinking? That man on the chair was the Alpha King and I was just a prisoner of him. Where did I get the guts to think he belonged to me? "Tell me who sent you here, woman." I was too lost in my mind to notice they'd been finished and the King was before me. His aura made me into a trembling mess that I wanted to kneel. "Speak woman or I feed you off to hungry wolves," his voice roared and echoed around the room and I jolted in fear. "I'm Jemima Brown of Blackwater Pack," the name burned in my mouth and I felt pain and hatred rush through my veins. How I hated the name so much that I was ready to deny it at any moment soon. "So..?" His charming baritone voice rang again and I was forced to look up. "So..!?" I repeated in awe when I saw his complete self standing just a few steps from me. The last I remember, his eyes were a rich pitch Black like my hair color but now, they were onyx Brown, making his handsome more outstanding. I couldn't help but imagine what a pleasure it would be to grab his hair while he fiercely held my body to claim me. "Don't repeat me. Just tell me who sent you here!" Fuck! What have I done!? My face heated up from my wild imagination just now. How could I want to have s*x with him when he might kill me? Com'on, Jemima, you have to focus on thinking about how to survive first! I bit on my lips a million times over, making it bleed as I tasted it in my mouth. And then I spoke after taking a deep breathe. "No one sends me here, Your Grace. I am only an Omega. My parents died due to a fatal accident...and I was just out for traveling and accidentally trespassed your realm." I told him as I tried my best to calm down, "I didn't mean to do it." I didn't want to lie to him but I couldn't let him know I was a runaway slave. He would definitely send me back and Alpha would punish me hard. I would die for that. I couldn't annoy him before finding a way to leave here safely. I felt a hand hold on my chin, pulling it up. "Do you know what it costs to lie to the king?" He asked, giving me a fearful smirk. He was the cruel King who could kill and take as he liked. And my jaw would break in his tight hold if I tried to struggle. His eyes fixed on mine. It did a lot to my being. His aura was one blinding with enormous mystery. They were demanding and commanding and I should feel scared but I somehow wanted to be enveloped in his darkness. What was wrong with me? "I'll give you the last chance." He gritted and I tried to shake my head, "I...I don't..." "Allow them in, Zach," he called a name as he released my neck and I hissed in pain. I heard footsteps walk in and then when a familiar scent hit my nose. I didn't need to ask anyone in particular to know who was there. Why the hell was Alexander Lancaster here? Hell! The King already knew who I was and he would kill me for sure!
