After that phone call I had a decision to make. The fact that the guys had been following me through out the night to an extent that they had to capture Melvin meant there was something they wanted from me and I was not going to hand myself over to them. I texted Leo my address and told him not to tell anyone. I told him if he wanted to talk he should come to where I was and not go home for he was not going to find anyone there and me texting him must have been a relief. I got to ndegwa's home and found the keys just where he said I would find them so I opened the door and let myself in. The house was big, slightly bigger than my house and it had a few things compared to mine. Ndegwa has expensive seats, expensive curtains and for a moment I thought there was a woman who ought to be maintaining the house but then I remembered Ndegwa telling me in one of our drives that he didn't have a wife. After our wedding, Melvin and I went to our honey moon and I remember Jade being the one who drove us to the hotel. Melvin and I checked in after Jade wished me well and we were all giggling and stuff. That was the happiest day of my life though I got a bit sad when I was saying my wedding vows because I had so much wished for my parents to be part of that beautiful day but I found comfort in the fact that Melvin loved me and he chose me. He fought for me and even though some of his family didn't like me, he told me that what mattered was our relationship and what we meant for each other. We settled into our hotel room then after he had brought in all the bags he told me to freshen up, maybe take a shower as he went to finish up with the hotel management. I didn't know how long that was supposed to take but I did just as he had asked.. That night, ...The few minutes that Melvin left the hotel room to go and finish up with the reception, he was not finishing at the reception but checking in Jade in the same hotel and was given a door next to ours and how did I know that? I took a shower and changed into a night dress then waited patiently for Melvin to come. Half an hour, he was not back. I got out of the hotel room and peeped outside but he was not there. I was now beginning to get anxious. Did something happen to him? I got back inside and thought of calling the room service but on second thought I didn't. I trusted my husband and if he said he was finishing up at the reception then I needed to believe that. There was no need for doubt. I got on the bed and lay there scrolling through my phone when the door opened and in walked Melvin with a bottle of red wine in his hand. Melvin: baby I'm sorry. Me: you have been gone for close to an hour, where were you?. Melvin: I finished up at the reception then I needed this wine but they didn't have it so I had to check it outside. Me: Melvin, you know I don't care about all these things... I have you and that's enough. Melvin: I know, but this is a special night for me and my woman. I wanted the night to be special. Melvin had this cute infectious smile that somehow wiped my doubts away. He was right. Today was a special day and if he said he had gone to look for the best wine, I couldn't argue with that for he was that person who got the best of everything he wanted. Money was surely not a problem. The night was long and that was the first time I got to have s*x and the beautiful part of it was that I was doing it at the right time and with the right person. I'm that type of a person who believed in s*x after marriage and again, at the orphanage, we didn't really get the chance to interact with men out there because Betty didn't allow things like going out of the orphanage and coming back late. If we left the orphanage it had to be for college then get back home. Melvin was gentle with me and he practised alot of patience as I was an amateur in the bedroom affairs. He communicated what he wanted and how he wanted it and that's exactly what I did. The room service brought in our food for the night as Melvin had made orders and we ate as we talked about how the day had been, how we were going to expand the business just some developmental issues between a husband and a wife. Melvin stared deep into my eyes as we ate and I put my fork down and stared back. He looked away. Me: is there something you want to share? He shook his head and cleared his throat. Melvin: I'm just admiring my beautiful wife. I'm allowed to do that right?. He took my hand, the one that had a ring on it and he stared at the ring gently rolling it on my finger. Melvin: baby, did you mean those words you said at the alter?.. I didn't understand why he was asking me that but I nodded. Who would lie when making vows. Marriage was not only a covenant between me and him but between us and God as well. Me: in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death do us part. I meant every word I said. Didn't you? I crossed my arms to my chest searching for his eyes that were buried in his food. Something was bothering him that night but what, was he thinking twice about having marrying me? Melvin: of cause I do, I love you. I smiled briefly as he tightly held my hand. Melvin: marriage is a lifetime commitment and I'm glad you chose to walk down that road with me. We finished with the food and wine and now we needed to get some rest before we got up the following morning for our honeymoon destination. I asked Melvin severally where he was taking me but he kept saying it was going to be a surprise so I decided to wait and get surprised. We slept with Melvin cuddling me as I peacefully lay in his arms. I was tired from a the dancing and talking at the wedding so I must have fallen deep asleep and I didn't even hear Melvin pull his arm from under my neck and he slowly got out of bed and left... Melvin and Jade had a deal that after Benta fell asleep he would sneak into her room and make out with her before they left for the honeymoon the following morning Jade had given Melvin her key card so that he could just open and sneak in and so when Melvin left their room, he carried both the key cards and went to Jade's room. He opened the door and let himself in and Jade was not asleep yet. It was around 11:50 in the night and Jade had patiently been waiting. Jade: so, is she asleep? Melvin: yeah. Jade: you made love to her? Melvin: it's our first night together, why would you ask me that? Jade: how was it? Melvin: Jade! Jade: I'm sorry...I just feel jealous of her. Melvin: this was your idea remember? Jade: I know that. It's just hard to imagine my husband sleeping with another woman. Melvin: technically we are separated. Jade: but not divorced... She knelt on the bed and grabbed him then pulled him closer to her and started kissing him. He pulled off her night dress and dropped it on the floor then pushed her back. He pulled down his shorts and climbed to the bed. Jade was beautiful and she had a beautiful body as well. Melvin caressed her thighs and kissed them making his way up. He kissed her belly and her chest as his middle finger caresed her already wet p***y. Jade loved that and she'd push his finger even deeper as she slowly moaned to whatever she was feeling when he did that. Melvin was blessed down there but there was some magic his finger did that not even his Blessing could surpass. The finger touched every nerve and hit her G spot. He knew how to make her reach an o****m by just using his finger and her moaning while he did that turned him on even more. The reason why Melvin and Jade kept having s*x even after the separation was because Jade was not boring in bed. She knew just what to do to keep Melvin stuck to him infact he would be the one to look for her alot of times and Jade knew he would never completely leave... When Jade had enough of his finger f*cking, she would eventually grab his already hardened d**k and push it inside her and Melvin's work would start there and he never disappointed because of their loud moans with Jade digaging on his back with her nails and if Jade's moaning didn't bring the entire hotel down then it would surely wake Benta up. Melvin covered her mouth a few times when he felt she was being too loud and when he started vibrating like a tractor on top of her, she knew the job was done and he would even fall asleep on top of her. Melvin slept in Jade's room for like an hour then she woke him up and asked him to go back to his room before Benta realized he was gone. Melvin: are you chasing me away? Jade: you are a big name baby, we don't want scandals following you around do we? Melvin shook his head then got dressed. Jade: I hope you get her pregnant Melvin we need that baby. Melvin: I know that. Jade: don't waste the honeymoon, make the bullets counts and promise me to miss me when you are away. Some promises were stupid to make but Melvin nodded anyway. Why would you miss someone when you had an equally beautiful woman around with nice ass, brilliant brains, sexy and stuff. Do men even miss women or they just miss s*x? Melvin made the promise then kissed her one last time before he handed her the key card and went back to his room. Benta was still sound asleep so he crawled into bed and made sure his body didn't touch her because his skin was cold and if he got closer to her she would know he was not in bed.. The following morning I woke up to a very handsome man sleeping beside me. I turned to my side and stared at him I mean God took his time to create this one. How he even spotted me among women and chose me was still a mystery. I moved closer and started tracing his lips with my finger then traced his eyes and ears then when he opened his eyes and smiled I stopped caressing his face. He took my hand and put it to his chest opened the other arm and let me rest in it. Melvin: you had a good night? Me: yes I did. Melvin: me too. He turned and kissed me the lips then pulled me closer. Melvin: yesterday when we were having s*x I realized that you were a virgin. Me: is that a bad thing? Melvin: no. It's a good thing. So you have never been with another man before? Me: no. You are my first. Melvin: wow! Me: you are saying that like it's a bad thing. Melvin: no it's not a bad thing, it's just rare to find a girl who has kept herself especially in this generation. He pulled me closer and cuddled me some more and I felt warm and secure in his arms. Melvin and I talked some more that morning. We just going deep about our expectations in the marriage and all those things couples discuss in the honey moon. Melvin told me that he wanted us to have two beautiful kids then focus on raising them. I agreed with him and even though my plans were to give myself atleast one year to stabilize my carrier first before I went that road, he insisted and told me the reason why he separated with his first wife was because she couldn't give him children and his people were so hard on her.. Melvin: you don't want that on you too do you? I shook my head a bit confused. What if I couldn't give birth too, would they chase me away? Melvin: you are thinking... Me: uhm yeah. So you like want me get pregnant like immediately so that you can prove a point? I asked getting away from him and jumping out of the bed. So that was it, he married me to be his baby making machine. Did he even love me like he claimed he did? Melvin jumped out of bed too and we met in the middle of the room. I don't know what had gotten me so mad but I was. Melvin: hey... I'm sorry it wasn't supposed to sound like that. Me: no. It was, what if I'm not able to give you kids too, you will throw me out like you did your first wife? He moved in towards me and pulled me to his arm. Melvin: no. I will not throw you out. I didn't marry you for the kids, I married you because I love you Benta and if the kids don't come, we will figure out a way. His arms felt warm enough to ease my worries so I didn't say anything else. He suggested we hit the shower then check out of our hotel room for our honeymoon destination and I agreed... * That night I didn't sleep. I was worried that maybe just maybe the guys would trace me and kill me just like they had promised so I was on watch the entire time. I prepared tea in ndegwa's house because I was so hungry and I had eaten nothing the entire time except for what I had at Betty's place. I thought of preparing a meal but I could not eat not knowing where my son was. Ethan had really cried and I could really feel it, see us women, there is a way we are connected with our babies so when they are not okay. We feel it in us. Poor thing... I switched on he tv and as I prepared the tea, I walked around the house to make sure I was in there alone. Not that I didn't trust Ndegwa but I had to be extra careful. From the look of things, the house had no one living in it, I don't even think Ndegwa did but maybe this was the house he was telling me about. Maybe he really wanted to keep me safe. I found myself inside one of the bedrooms and it was very neat. I however got interested in the photo that was on the stand just beside the bed. It was the photo of a beautiful lady with dimples and a beautiful smile. That's not the only thing that attracted me to that photo. That lady in the photo was my mother. She was slightly younger than when she died infact she was a complete replica of me.. Why did Ndegwa have my mother's photo's In his house and why would he send me to that house. Why didn't Ndegwa tell me he knew my mum and could him bring so protective of me had something to do with all these? I didn't have an answer to all those questions and I remembered I had left tea boiling. I rushed back to the kitchen served the tea and went back to the living room where I had my tea watching TV until eventually I fell asleep. The following morning I heard the door bell ring severally and when I opened my eyes, I was still in the living room, I had slept on the sofa the entire night with the TV on. I checked my phone and saw three missed calls from Leo. He must have been the one who was at the door. I called him to confirm and it was him ringing the bell so I got up and opened the door for him, checked around and closed the door after him and he turned around and hugged me.. Leo: I'm so sorry.. I was in his arms for a second e jiyng the hug because I really needed it then then pushed him back. He realized my phone beeping and told me someone was looking for me and when I saw the caller I told him about the callers and he asked me not to pick the call. Me: they will kill your brother Leo. Leo: there is something I need to tell you. He said taking my hand and walking me to the seat, what other surprises could be there.. Me: what is it? Leo: promise me you will not get mad.. Me: Leo!...
