Ethan pulled up in front of a different bar from the one that he took me to last time, which I was grateful for. I was terrified that I would run into the guy that I met at the last bar, but we were at least 10 minutes away from that bar, so I wasn’t as worried about that now. The only thing I had to be nervous about was getting wasted and making the same mistakes as last time, but I trusted Ethan to stop me before doing anything stupid this time. He was my best friend, after all, he wouldn't purposefully let me get hurt again.
