I kept an eye on Christian as he approached the bar. I knew he wasn’t actually going to get more alcohol, but I wasn’t going to embarrass him by calling it out in front of everyone. Besides, he was doing a lot already just being out tonight. He didn’t need to feel pressured to drink as well.
When a woman came up to him at the bar, I was a little shocked. It wasn’t because someone showed interest in him, he was a good-looking guy and everything, but it was surprising that he didn’t push her away and instead seemed to reciprocate her feelings. He even followed her to the dance floor with a drink in his hand.
“Would you look at that, Christian actually found himself a babe,” Will commented when he followed my line of sight. “And she’s a werewolf too, not bad.” He nodded his app
