"You don't have to lie to me like that, Celena. You know I always try to understand your decisions no matter what the reason is." "I-I just don't think you should know about it since that would be the last time I'll talk to Raven. I thought you'd get m-mad if I told you." "I should know everything. Everything, Celena. Don't hide anything from me anymore." I nodded. I know he should and I shouldn't lie anymore. I should respect him since I agreed to let him court me. "I know. I'm sorry." He didn't say anything. We're just staring at each other's eyes. I'm nervous while he's so calm about it. "Are you hungry?" He asked. I nodded. I got hungry after the talk we had. He chuckled as he went out of the car. He opened the car door for me and offered his hand. "I'll order us food in McDonald's. Is that fine with you?" I nodded. Anything is fine with me as long as I'm with him. I watched him from a far ordering on his phone. Come to think of it, he's exactly how I imagined my ideal guy to be. Tall, white, broad shoulder with the right size of body, deep voice, sweet and understanding. He's almost too perfect for me. "Here," He said and handed me a box of tissue. I looked at my face on the big mirror in our living room. I look like a mess. He's behind me combing my hair with his hand. I smiled. He looks so cute. I don't think I could afford to lose him. "I can't stay mad at you," "I was afraid you'd leave me..." "What? I got mad, but I never thought of leaving you. Not ever." My smile got bigger. "Really? What if I cheat?" I said to tease him. Of course I would never do that. I'm not that kind of girl, but what if he's the one who cheated? The smile on my face faded. "Are you going to cheat on me then?" "No. Are you?" I asked back. "No. Of course not. Could I find anyone better than you?" He said on my neck. I can feel his warm breath. He placed a kiss on my cheek. I pouted and he chuckled when he saw me. The warmth of his body beside me made me feel secured, but at the same time nervous. I can feel his deep stare. "A-Are you still mad at me?" I asked. "Yes, and you're gonna pay for it." He smirked. He smiled when our lips met. I didn't realize our face was so close to each other. He kissed me passionately and I couldn't hold myself back. "Transaction complete." He chuckled. I laughed and hugged him. Silly! The best guy I've ever met.   Chapter 7 The next day I went to school with stares of my schoolmate. Is there something wrong with me? I checked my reflection on my phone's camera and I look fine. "Celena!" I can see Laura run as fast as she can to reach me. "What's wrong? Can you check if I have something on my uniform? Everyone's staring and it's weird." "A rumor spread. That you and Raven are dating. They said someone saw you together after the game." Yes we were together, but is that an enough evidence for them to conclude that me and Raven are dating? My God! This people! "Let them be. I'll have Caleb to come over at lunch later." I said. I'll just show them the real one. My classmates kept asking me if I'm really dating Raven. However, no matter how I deny it, they won't believe me. What's the point of asking if you already fixed that statement in your head? Stupid. I already texted Caleb about the rumor. He didn't think twice to go back to my school. He said he will wait at the cafeteria. I still have an hour of math class. - Finally! I'm really hungry and I want to see Caleb's face. It's weird how I miss him when we just met earlier this morning. We even live in the same house. I found him on an empty table, he probably rejected all of the people who wants to sit with him. I smiled when he looked at me. I waved and ran towards him. Laura's not joining us today since she will be having lunch with Dan. "Who spread the rumor?" Caleb asked. "There's a lot of people in the gym yesterday, so I don't really know which one" "That Raven must've thought he won over me." "Maybe, but he would never win against you." I smiled and caressed his cheeks. I can feel the stares around us. Well this is the purpose why I made him come. I wanted to show them who my man is. I stopped when I saw Raven near us. He's carrying a tray with a lot of foods, he looks like he's going to sit with me. I raised my eyebrow. Caleb immediately caught my reaction so he looked back. Raven turned around and walk the opposite way. I feel bad, but the way he's trying have a sit and a meal with me is like he's making it look like the rumors are true. "That guy... I hate him." I chuckled. He looks acts and looks like a kid right now. After that day, people stop spreading the rumors. At least I walk in the hallway peacefully now. Argh! I hate it when I go to school. I miss Caleb already. "Do you have training later?" "Yes, until 9 in the evening." I pouted. Now I kinda regret joining the team again. I want to be with Caleb. I can feel him looking at me. He lift up my chin and smiled. "I'll watch you. I'll wait until your done." I nodded and eat my food. I wonder how long will this last? I don't mean to overthink but are we going to last long? "By the way, are you busy this weekend?" He asked. "Uhm... I'm free. Why?" "Do you wanna go to the beach?" "I don't know how to swim though," "You're not gonna swim alone." He chuckled. I really don't know how to swim. I can swim if I can reach the surface, but if it's deeper than my height, I can't. "Okay then," "There's a lot of beaches in New York, haven't you visited one before?" "When I was a child? I think? But the last time I visited New York, I only got to roam around the city." "Mhmm, did you meet other man than me?" "No! Of course not. I was with my cousin, Nikki. Do you remember her?" I actually met some guys, but those are Nikki's friend and we didn't really hang out that long. Nikki has a lot of friends there since she lives in New York. They were all kind and chill. "Yup." "How about you? I'm guess you did it with another girl days after what happened to us." I said. I don't mind if he says yes. It's not like we were together before or anything. It was just a one night stand. That's it. "I didn't though, how could you be so sure, miss?" "I just guessed." I shrugged. "Well, I didn't. I couldn't forget you and the way you make those noises and sounds on my ears." I threw him a tissue. He chuckled and ate his food. We're in public! What if someone hears him? Whatever. It's not like it's a secret and nothing's wrong with it. We're both in the right age. After lunch, I came back to our room to attend the last two subject. Caleb was waiting at the library, I think. Library has aircon and internet so that's probably where he's camping. "So what happened? Where's Caleb?" "Was that your boyfriend, Celena? I mean the one you're with at the cafeteria." A classmate asked. She was the one who won't believe that I'm not dating Raven earlier. I rolled my eyes in front of Laura and then smiled at her. "Yup." "So you and Raven aren't really dating?" I nodded. She just nodded and left. That's how a girl who spreads rumors ask questions. Annoying. If only I'm not bothered by them, I won't do any of this to prove myself. "So? Answers to my questions please?" "I ate lunch with Caleb at the cafeteria. Raven saw us and he was planning to join me for lunch until he saw Caleb in front of me." "That jerk must really want to pretend like the rumors are true. Such a shame." "I know right?" Raven was really nice to me and everything, but what he did was kinda off to me. Somehow weird. It was sort of my fault for accepting his offers every time. I really do find him attractive before, but when I realized Caleb's worth, all of those faded. It's like all of the boys are not attractive to me except for Caleb. After class I went straight to the gym's locker room. I texted Caleb to let him know that I'm already here. Maybe he fall asleep or whatever. "Celena, hi!" Valerie said when we locked our eyes the moment she came inside. "Hi! Are you done changing?"  I asked. She nodded and smiled.  I double check my lace to see if they're tied nicely.   "I saw you earlier at the cafeteria. That guy was hot! Where'd you get him?" She asked and slightly chuckled. "I met him at New York. How are you and Gabriel?" I don't really mind Valerie asking. She's not similar to Mau and she has a boyfriend. I could even ask her for some tips. "We're still together. Four years and still counting," She smiled. That's nice. I wonder how does it feel to be in a relationship with someone for four years? I mean what could be their possible conflicts and things they do everyday? We stopped in the middle of the court and I look around to look for Caleb. He waved his hand when our eyes met. I smiled and waved back. "Celena, warm up." Mau said. Mau's really strict when it comes to training, but she's looking at Caleb right now. "Let's go? Mau?" I said and she looked at me. She nodded and proceeded to the warm up. I'm facing Caleb so I can see him smiling from here and looking at me. I can't help but to smile sometimes too. I can see Mau looking at me. "Okay, Let's start the first game. Celena's team on this side and Valerie's team on the other." I don't know if it was a coincidence or she really placed me where I couldn't see Caleb. Whatever. This is a game and I should focus on it. "Mine!" I said and squat to receive the low ball. "Nice!" My team said. The first set ended and we're now leading. We changed side so now I could see Caleb again. He put a thumbs up in the air and smiled. I want to end this so badly! I just wanna be with him. "Celena, please pay attention to the game." Mau said. I nodded. I don't know why she said that. I'm really attentive and I don't think I made a mistake. Finally the game ended and we won. I ran towards Caleb and he's has a tumbler beside him and it's color pink. Don't tell me he bought this for me? "Where'd you get this?" I chuckled. "I bought it earlier, at the mall. I also bought you a shirt to change." "I have one though, at the locker room." "Oh? Then I'll take this one to the laundry later so you could wear it tomorrow." I smiled and nodded. I drank on the tumbler he bought for me and sat beside him. I flinched a bit when I felt a soft towel damping on my skin. I looked at Caleb and he's trying to wipe my sweat. He doesn't even notice that I'm looking. I smiled and that caught his attention. "What's up baby? Why are you smiling? Do I have something on my face?" He asked. "No, no. You just look cute."
