His Second chance mate

1052 Words
"Looks like they're unconscious, Alpha," In the dark of the night with the Moonlight as the only source of light, three people stood around the unconscious woman lying on the floor with a sleeping child atop her. The Alpha had at first, thought his nostrils had been deceiving him. He had caught the scent of the woman even before he got to her, and it was even more intoxicating than he remembered. He knew she wasn't the only one who had crossed into his territory, but the rest had already left before he and his Beta and Gamma had arrived at the scene immediately. Ezekiel went down on one knee gracefully, his feral red eyes taking a good look at her face, body...and then, the little boy whom she had wrapped her arms around in a protective way. Then, he pulled up to his feet again. "What shall we do with them, Alpha?" Jet, the Beta asked. "Lock them up. Inform me once she awakens," Ezekiel replied. Jet and Black were a little startled to hear him say that. Ezekiel was not the kind of person to let anyone who dared him live for another second, and yet this woman and child were still breathing the same air he was. But then again, Jet and Black could never question their Alpha. Alpha Ezekiel was insanely powerful, with the most dominating aura they'd ever felt pouring out of an Alpha's skin that it was almost unbelievable. For the rest of the day, Alpha Ezekiel remained silent. He sat down, alone in his study with many opened books around him yet he had his attention on none of the books. His eyes were fixed on space, and was very much deep in thought. What was happening? "Moon Goddess...!" He uttered with a snarl. Had he not gotten rid of her? Had he not... rejected her? His fist came down and slammed onto the hard wooden table, with the earth beneath him trembling a little while cracks formed at different parts of the table. He was pretty sure the next time he did this, the table would eventually give in and crumble. How many broken tables would that make? Unable to hold himself, Zeke took off to the training grounds to let out his building rage and confusion. Standing at a distance from the grounds, Jet and Black could hear the sound of falling trees and continuous trembles of the earth all caused by the Alpha. "I can't believe I didn't recognize her at first," Jet said, shaking his head in disdain. "I wonder what she's doing back here. The Alpha isn't taking it well," Black replied, folding her hands. Jet and Black were the Alpha's Beta and Gamma respectively. Like his right and left hands, always there to Carry out his orders and keep the Midnight-Creek Pack safe and running. "When are we gonna tell him that the Alpha Zack has refused to sign the peace treaty?" Jet glanced at Black. She had a frown on her face from hearing him say that. "What we should be worried about right now is if he would even let any one of us close to him without ripping our limbs. Remember how he almost killed Rain three days ago? Or would you like to risk it, too?" Black replied strongly. Black shook his head, laughing lightly. "Do you think he didn't kill her because he has a soft spot for her?" Jet laughed out loud this time. Soft spot? Alpha Ezekiel? "You've got to be kidding me. I didn't know you could make that kind of Joke, Black," Black rolled her eyes at Jet. "He's Probably keeping her alive for his own personal reasons. Once she wakes up, he would make her regret ever returning here. Have you forgotten how much he loathed her back then? Even though she was being pursued, she should have taken another route. She should have lived very far away from him. She should have prayed to the Moon Goddess for them to never cross paths again!" "Now, I'm beginning to pity her." Black shook her head, "He would not be as pitiful and merciful to her as he was the last time. This would be the end of her," "The worst part is, She is now an Omega. And you know how much Alpha Ezekiel hates Omegas. The odds are all against her. If I were her, I would never wake up," "She might try and escape?" "Worst decision she could ever think of Making. Ezekiel is only gonna force her to have the duel with him. No one ever comes out of that with all their body parts Intact. And that is not even the worst-case scenario," "And the Child?" "Poor kid," Jet shook his head. It was almost morning when one of the dungeon attendants informed Jet and Black that the Captured Omega had awakened. Jet turned to the direction of the training grounds where Ezekiel was still at, running wild from his infuriation. "We going?" Black asked. "He did say to tell him immediately she woke up," Jet replied with a light groan. "Come on, let's go," They arrived at the training grounds, rattled to see the earth splits and just how many trees had been manhandled and destroyed by the Alpha's Rampage. "Alpha," They both went down on one knee as he approached them. It was already unbearable to be next to him when he was in a normal state, and now his aura was blazing and shooting off everywhere. "The Prisoner is Awake," And that was all Ezekiel needed to hear. There was nothing stopping him from breaking into a run till he got to the dungeons, but he forced himself to hold back and strolled down the road casually. Emptying his mind hadn't worked at all. He had only destroyed the training grounds without any results, and that only made him even more furious. How was he supposed to push her away for the second time? "Would you look at that," Zeke's wolf, Twilight, growled inside of him. Zeke could feel the wolf's sly smile and a deep rumble reverberated out of his chest as his wolf chuckled, "The mate you rejected...has come back as your second-chance mate." Zeke's face hardened, "Shut up, Light!"
