10. Incandescent flame.
Katarina.
Since I'm not an imbecile, I go after him, shouting his name.
"Killian!"
I follow him down the hallway, the muscles in his back twitching in tension as he moves away. I quicken my pace, trying to catch up to him.
"Igor" Killian says over his shoulder, without stopping, already out of the house.
Five seconds later, as if communicating by telepathy, Igor reaches me and stops me by the shoulders. Killian moves away from me and I watch helplessly as he does so. I jerk away, but Igor stands firmly behind me, holding me. I want to punch him to get him to let go, but with all the men around guarding, I know I would be the one most affected.
I watch silently as Killian climbs into a black pickup truck, two men get in with him and speed away from there,
