SOONER than later, we have finally arrived in front of our house. Ceasar started decreasing the speed of his bicycle before we even reached the front gates and I was enjoying the wind blowing up my hair. By this time, I had already finished the ice cream he bought for me.
I could feel my smile reaching to my ears and it felt joyful to have gone through this day not just by myself but with Ceasar and our classmates. Ceasar stopped the bicycle and I got off immediately. I saw him trying to glance towards the windows of our house.
I mumbled, “My mother must be home. Do you wanna come inside?”
He shrugged his shoulders faster than I could offer her another choice. So, I just nodded my head still smiling as I raised my hand to wave him goodbye. “Ride slow and steady, Ceasar.”
