Nora's POV
A nervous gulp passed my throat as I held his gaze, which was filled with a mixture of emotions. He stared at the mark one more time while I nervously licked my lips.
I noticed he shifted his gaze away from me and glanced at Lord Maddison for a moment before closing his eyes.
“Nora, move away,” Lord Maddison spoke, but I didn't. “He might lose control. Everyone should leave the room,” Lord Maddison instructed, but I still didn't move an inch. Something tells me he would never hurt me.
