Our conversation was short but it kind of lessen my worries. Nakatulog ako agad pero nagising rin ako ng pasado alas kwatro ng madaling araw. Of course, wala pa rin si Zieg. I concentrated on helping my staff on Lush that day. Pinilit ko na iwaglit ang isip ko kay Zieg at sa nangyari sa Dolce Maria. I became busy with the inventory and stuff, sumabay na rin ako sa pag lunch ng mga staff ko.

Pauwi na ako pero wala pa ring message or text from Zieg.

I don't want to go home yet kaya tinawagan ko si Daena. It's been a while since the last time we saw each other at halos sandali lang rin sila noon sa shop ko when Ahren dropped them of. Daena then invited me na pumunta na lang sa kanila.

Halos magkasunod lang kaming dumating ni Ahren. Kakagalintg nya lang rin sa office at agad syang nakipag kulitan kay Skye na karga ni Daena. We greeted each other bago ko tinulungan sa kusina si Daena at kinuha naman ni Ahren si Skye mula sa asawa.

They look so happy and contented. Made me suddenly think if possible ba na umabot kami sa ganitong phase ni Ziegfried?

"Spill it," Maya maya ay sabi ni Dane habang hinuhugasan ko ang petchay at sya naman ay nagbabalat ng patatas. Nilagang baka daw ang request ni Ahren at nasa pressure cooker na kanina pa ang baka. Kailangan na lang ng mga gulay at timplahan.

"Spill what?" Maang na sabi ko.

She sighed, then stopped what she was doing. "You look tense, Aya. Kanina pa. At hindi ka lang basta basta mag-aaya lumabas or magkita tayo this urgent."

I licked my lower lip. Iniisip ko kung dapat ko bang sabihin kay Daena, pero naisip ko na naging parte rin sya ng Dolce Maria, at mukhang wala syang alam tungkol katgabi.

"Dolce Maria's been raided last night. Since Zieg is their lawyer, kagabi pa sya nandoon. Well, I don't really know kung nasaan sya or kung ano ang progress. Even Bree's not updating me. Ayoko pa umuwi at magmukmok so I called you."

"Oh, what? No one told me." Bigla ay nag alala na rin si Daena.

"Yeah. I just don't understand kung bakit ngayon pa nangyari.." I said.

Nangunot ang noo ni Daena. "What do you mean ngayon pa? Is there something I should know?" Okay, now Daena looked like she's not gonna settle for a vague answer.

I told her about Selina and the NBI stuff. Wala ako ibang mapagsabihan bukod kay Bree na busy rin sa trabaho nya. I don't want to give the burden of knowing to Daena but she's also my friend, one of the closest aside from Bree.

She's speechless afterwards. I told her everything up to someone sending my parents and siblings a picture of me and a note telling them I dance in a beer house. It really worries me, lalo na at si Zieg ang isa sa pinaka involved dito.

"Hindi ko alam kung dapat ko bang isipin na may kinalaman sa pagkaka raid ng Dolce Maria si Selina o kung sino mang sindikato ang may hawak sa kanya." Ang nasabi ko na lang.

"I'm sorry, ayoko lang na maabala ka. I thought everything is under control."

Hindi agad nagsalita si Daena. Bahagya syang tumingin sa ginagawa nya na para syang nag iisip bago sya ulit tumingin sa akin. "Okay, this is big. We can't let Zieg be in the middle of this. NBI might be helping but they can only do so much. We need more help."

"I know. Hindi ko alam kung kanino ako pwede humingi ng tulong."

"Ahren knows the PNP Chief. Would you be okay for me to tell Ahren para makausap nya? I don't feel good about this. They also targeted Dolce Maria." She feel tense.

In the end, pinatapos na lang ni Daena sa maid nila ang pagluluto and we talked to Ahren.
