We were expecting Taylor's name to be announced, but instead, it was Chase's. So Chase, not Taylor, is the best student of the year? I mean, I'm proud of my friend's accomplishments, but I was surprised, so was Chase.
When the teacher approached Chase and took him to the stage, he stood up. He looked at me with a puzzled expression. I can hear the gossips that someone has overtaken Taylor at the top.
When I looked at Trevor, he was just sitting there, as if he didn't notice anything. I spotted Taylor excuse himself to flee and expected Trevor to follow, but he didn't. I know Trevor will be there to comfort his friend but why not now?
