He left me after those words, and I now know everything. I knew he wasn't doing this to win or be superior, but rather to see his mother, and I took everything away from him. I took the only reason he's been fighting and working so hard for the past few weeks. This is why he's so competitive in everything; he didn't become the school's ice prince and the cheeriest jewel by accident.
