I've had the field looking for her, but no luck.” “You lost her? I thought she was coming back home.” “Yeah, I did too,” Wilcox said, continuing to scan the cars he passed in search of the Taurus. “So what happened?” Jordan asked incredulously. “How did you lose her?” “She was coming straight down the coast. I followed her all the way in from Pismo Beach to Thousand Oaks. Then she stopped at a coffee shop. She made a call and then sat took off toward the freeway. I got back on the freeway I couldn't find her. It's like she disappeared.” “Did you actually see her get back on the freeway?” Jordan asked thou
