“But in the end, even though their lives here were short, they were reunited with the moon goddess. Where they lived happily ever after,” my mother said, tucking me in.
“How could they be so cruel?” I sniffled.
“Because they were filled with greed, but the moon goddess was finally able to rest with her family”
“If I ever get to meet her I’ll apologize and if she decides to let her family come back I’ll protect them,” I puffed out my chest.
