The crowd had no reaction to this. I think they were in shock. Now, standing in front of them, was a stranger claiming I was to be their next Alpha.
I was waiting for someone, anyone, to try and doubt me. That’s when the whispers and shouts started. Many of the older pack members were voicing their concerns about my capabilities. In these last few years I’ve proven to them all how capable I could be.
