The word Eskimo stems from the Algonquin tribe of people. Their language is often called Inuktitut, an Aleut language. Being a migratory people, they inhabit the Arctic and Bering Sea regions. Having formed cooperatives to market their handicrafts, fish catches, and tourism ventures, they also resort to making money by carving sculptures, through dance, writing literature, and through music.
