Declan
My name is Captain Declan Ace Garrison and I'm a cop at the Lakeshore PD. I'm 6'7 260 pounds of solid mussel with blonde hair and baby blue eyes.
I'm the oldest child of my family I'm 31. I've got 3 brothers my twin Jackson and then Hunter and Coleman who are also twins. We also have a little sister. Chelsea she's the middle child and the only one that's not a twin.
We're not your traditional family we have got a mom and two dads. Yes, I said two dads. Our mom is Susannah or Suzy, she's the daughter of Wanda, Darren, and Dawson Rowan. Our dads are Slade and Storm, and they are the sons of Estelle, Sylvester, and Sebastian Garrison.
Our grandparents were friends when they were growing up so naturally, our parents grew up together. Mom wasn't sure she wanted the same life as her parents, so she took off for college.
When she came back home for Christmas break, she ran into our dads again. Needless to say, four months after she graduated from college Jax and I were born.
My mom found out she was pregnant for us in March but didn't tell our dads till she graduated and moved back home.
Even though she was pregnant she still didn't want to get married but come valentine's day the following year she married my dad's. They have been happy since then.
With having two sets of twins, our family assumed that we'd end up being the same way. That we'd find that one female that we could both love and fall in love with.
It may sound weird for some, I mean come on two guys and a girl. Hell, some may even think it's incest or gay but it's not. When it comes to making love to a woman it's all about her and her pleasure. We don't touch at all, ever.
So, as we grew up and got to be teenagers Jax and I would find a chick to hook up with, but Hunter was always on his own with girls. He always said he didn't like it, but Cole didn't want to go out ever.
When he was seventeen, we finally found out why, it was because he's gay. It took him a while to be able to tell us because he was afraid of how we'd all react to it.
Of course, our family supported him a hundred percent. He didn't have anything to ever worry about, we all love him just the way that he is.
So, from then on when Jax and I would go out we'd start taking Hunt out with us, and from then on it would be the three of us and a girl. I got to say it has been awesome, but the one-night stands are getting old and we're ready to find that someone special and settle down.
At least Hunt an I are. Jax, not so much and I'm not sure why. He's been kind of distant lately and I don't know why. Hopefully one day though we'll all find that girl to be happy with.
Tonight's a typical Wednesday night with the same bullshit as always with the constant fights to break up, and the breaking and enterings. We had a call for a domestic abuse case that was pretty bad the victim was a 38-year-old woman with lacerations on her arms, legs, and back.
She has a broken nose and a fractured eye socket along with a broken arm and leg. Some of the lacerations were deep and needed lots of stitches. She's also lost a lot of blood.
We had to go to the hospital to ask her a few questions and my night was made better just by seeing a beautiful face. When we had walked into the room Henley's twin sister Harley was just finishing up with Mrs. Bingle's stitches.
After she left, we had asked our questions and it was the same as always, he came home drunk. He got mad because the diner was cold because he was late getting home.
She got in his way and upset him by accident, and she didn't mean to. And worst of all she didn't want to press charges on him.
I've seen it all and it still pisses me off to see a man hit a woman and them not want to put his ass in jail for it. As we were leaving, I gave her my card, "Ok Mrs. Bingles if you change your mind or need help just give me a call. Take care now."
"I don't get it man they never want to press charges on them I got to say it pisses me off." "I know man it does me to but what are you going to do." "Let's head back and try to question him and get the paperwork done. I'm exhausted already. Hey, wait you hear that" Henley said?
"Wha" is all I can say when he shushes me, and we hear my brother Cole and Harley talking. I can just barely make out what she is saying though. She's so quiet all the time.
"My brothers all like you but are too chicken s**t to admit it or even fight about who's going to ask you out but yet they're always giving me hell about your brother" Cole says.
Harley says something but all we hear is. "Are you ready to take our break I'm exhausted after doing stitches for two hours straight and my back is killing me, I'm ready to sit down" Harley says.
"Yes, I am I'm starving let's go to the cafeteria and boy watch while we eat our lunch maybe we can both find some good men," he says.
It pisses me off to hear them talking about finding a good man because in a way I'd like to be that man for her, but my brothers won't go for it because it's our best friend's sister. Of course, I'm pretty sure Henley's pissed now also because he likes my brother but won't go for it even though he's got our blessing.
They both wave as they see us leaving and start laughing as they walk away and I'm pretty sure it's because we both look pissed and stomped out of the hospital.
"Like any of the losers in the hospital are any good for either of them," Henley says with a scowl. "Hey if you're worried about Cole finding a good man why don't you get the balls up and ask him out. Stop being a puss about it we all know that you both like each other. So, what's the problem" I ask him.
"If I tell you will you promise not to rib me and call me a girl?" "Sure, what's up you know you can talk to me."
"Well, when I was fifteen my dad and brothers found out that I was gay. My dad wanted to throw me out right then, but Harley threatened to go with me. She was the only girl with seven brothers and that's counting me. They always treated us like crap from the time we were little, and I don't know why. Around that time they wanted here there for some reason because she was the only girl. So, when dad threatened me, and she stood up to him, he caved in and let me stay till graduation. When we were sixteen, we started working and saving up money. Plus, we were still getting an allowance also and saving it. After we graduated and had our diplomas in hand, we took off out of there. We'd packed our bags and all of our stuff the night before. We had found an apartment for cheap near the campus we were both going to and found new jobs. It still didn't matter though; my brothers just keep making fun of me for being gay. I started dating this guy my sophomore year and things got bad with him. I don't like to talk about the s**t that happened with him because of how bad that it was. It took a while before I was able to start dating again and even then, I was scared to get too close and still am. To make matters worse I met a guy my senior year of college and we dated most of the year, he wanted to get married but I just wasn't ready for that. Then one night he was walking home from the library and was attacked. It was so bad they didn't know how he was still alive when they found him. I should say when Harley found him. She was walking home from work and had found him she called 911 and then called me. She worked on him till the squad showed up. He was in surgery and had flatlined they couldn't bring him back. I felt like s**t because I couldn't commit to him the way he wanted me to. I stayed for the funeral and for graduation and then I packed up and moved out here. I still feel bad for leaving Harley like that. I was happy when she finally said she was moving out here with me. I know something happened to her out there, but she won't tell me what. I like your brother a lot, I really do but I'm terrified of being in another relationship and not being able to commit completely. Your brother deserves better than that."
Henley finally stopped talking and I was amazed at how his family had treated him and how Harley had stuck up for him. Even more so is the fact that he's letting something that happened in the past keep him from being able to move on and be happy. Whatever happened it had to have been bad. "Have you talked to anyone else about this, Harley maybe?" He just shook his head no.
"Listen man it sounds like your family's full of asshole well except for Harley. So, ignore how they feel about you being gay. You don't need them you've got a new family and we're all cool with it. You know my mom and dads and even grandparents have claimed you as their own. As for your ex's, I'm sorry for whatever the one did to you and I'm sorry that the other was attacked and passed away that way and I know I didn't know him but I'm sure he wouldn't want you to stop living. He'd want you to move on and be happy. Talk to my brother, take him out or just hang out with him. I'm sure in time the two of you can work s**t out and be happy together. As of right now, you both look miserable but he's just good at covering it up."
We rode the rest of the way back to the station in silence I hope that he thinks things though he's a good guy that deserves to be happy.
The rest of the night went by in a blur up till about a half hour till time to clock out. We got a call come through about a car accident that we had to go out to. A guy in a blue blazer sideswiped another car. We took off out of there as soon as the call came in.
When we arrived on the scene the fire department and emergency squad were both pulling up also. Turns out that the guy in the blazer was completely drunk and was driving way too fast. He wasn't paying attention and was going into the opposite lane, the other driver hit the horn, but he still ended up hitting the guy.
There was a female and a child in the car that got hit thankfully the kid only has a few scratches, but the mom had to be cut out of the car.
Our drunk driver may have a broken arm but he's getting escorted to the hospital by a cop and as soon as he's discharged, he's going straight to jail.
After putting cuffs on our drunk driver and getting the tow trucks to come out after the vehicles, we finished with the cleanup and headed back to the station.
After doing the paperwork on the accident Henley and I both left to head for our homes. I was just pulling into the apartment complex we live in when Hunt and Jax both pulled in beside me.
They both look as tired as I feel. "Hey boys long shift tonight wasn't it," I say. "Hell, ya it was I need a beer, shower, food, and bed and not in that order," Jax says.
"I agree man, I'm fuckin beat the only good thing about my days is the trips to the hospital," Hunt says.
"Yea that was the best part of my day also. We had to go down for the DA patient. Henley and I also overheard a conversation between Cole and Harley about going on a break to the cafeteria to try to find boyfriends. Got to say it pissed me off" I say.
Jax snorts "I don't know why, I'm telling you both, all it is, is another hot girl. One time in bed with her and we'd be done. Do you really want to hurt her like that or piss off her brother? Henley is our best friend after all, and a piece of ass isn't worth losing a friend over. What's the saying, Bros before Hoes".
"Dude she's not a piece of ass and do not call her a hoe she's not like that. You don't know her because you're not around her much. I honestly think there's more than just one night there also. I think she's what we're looking for dude, for real and if we don't ask her out soon, she's going to end up with Zeke. That fucker keeps asking her out. I'm about to punch him in the face for it. It pisses me off to no end to see him flirt with what should be ours" Hunter says with a pissed off look on his face.
You can tell he's really pissed over this and I can't say that I blame him. It makes me mad also just thinking about it.
"Dude chill, I'm sorry damn. How about we invite everyone over on Sunday to watch the game that way I can try to get to know her better."
"Jax you know we're supposed to go to Henley and Harley's on Sunday to watch the game but maybe well get lucky and she'll be there," Hunter tells him.
"Ya and we're also supposed to meet up Friday night to go to the bar. I figure well go pick Henley up then head out. The girls always go out Fridays for drinks so maybe well get lucky and see her in a dress instead of scrubs for a change" I say. And with that, I part for bed but not before seeing the lustful looks on their faces first.
