After two hours of driving, we finally reached the place where the meeting held. It's one hundred km away from our house. I tried to look for some alternative route that no one knew, but every single alternative route doesn't lead directly into the place. It will lead us somewhere in the same area, but the traffic are going to kill us if we take that road. So we uses the normal highway to go there...
Anyway, arriving at the fancy place that we can never get any reservation. We were greeted by the guard telling us where to park. Before we actually go to park, the guard also handed us some sort of blank card. We just take it and bring it along. When we did park and leave the car... Another person greeted us.
"Welcome. May I ask you for your card?"
I assume what that person means by 'your card' is the card that the guard gave us. So, we take it out and immediately, the person who's greeting us turn away.
"Mr. Shiro and Ms. Michi. From the order of Mr. Tywin, I shall bring you up to your table to prepare for your meeting."
"Ah! Yes, that would be wonderful if you can bring us to Mr. Tywin."
"With pleasure. Let's get moving."
The guide immediately take us along toward the building. She took us straight toward the back room and we went to take a special lift. We head straight to the top of the building where the sign just said 'VIP' there's no number whatsoever. Just one sentence and that is 'VIP' intriguing.
"Hey Shiro. I wonder what he's going to talk with us about. I heard that I'm invited because I'm a ranker and this talk involves the top 100 rankers. Do you know what we might go over in this meeting?"
"Honestly, I don't know. I tried to think it over and over again when we were in the car. But my mind just wanders off into the distance trying to not ruin the excitement that I'm going to get after hearing the information from Mr. Tywin, you know?"
"Ah, I see. Understandable knowing that you are that type of person. A person who's always looking for something exciting and interesting."
"Exactly. Rather than trying to figure out what we're going to talk about and get unnecessary stress, let's just think about what we should be eating. After all, it's Mr. Tywin's treat anyway."
After I said that, Michi just went 'Alright, cool then~' the unnecessary thought really just leave her mind.
"We've arrived at the VIP meeting room. Please ring the bell to notify us if you need anything, Mr. Shiro and Ms. Michi."
"Thank you for your caring consideration."
The guide leaves and then the two of us enters... At first, I thought that there's no one here. Until from the edge of the table, someone popped out from under the table.
Michi was shook. But I'm not. I can hear some shuffling underneath the table when the lift was opening. The person who's sitting on the edge of the table is a man that's still on his thirty. Very well dressed and groomed... He had this aura of 'Authority' but not in a bad way...
"Welcome, OneSec and Mercy. Are you two comfortable with me calling you two with your nickname?"
"Eh? Yes!"
"Sure. We're going to be calling you Tywin too then."
"You're free to call me that, OneSec and Mercy. Allow me to reintroduce myself as we are in the topic of introduction. My name is Tywin and I'm the head of the monitoring division in the project Eclipse Online. Nice to meet you both."
We take our seat and then I immediately assert some authority.
"Nice to meet you too. Care telling us why you invite us so suddenly?"
Michi immediately elbowed my rib. I hold it in and didn't even flinch. I just look at Tywin to see what he's on about.
"Ah yes. Let's go straight toward it. Mercy, you can order as much food as you want. Take some order for OneSec too. You are his lover, you should know what he wanted."
"Okay."
Tywin understand my intention and immediately put Michi out of this conversation by letting her buy food. I grinned a bit as a sign of 'I like your style' and he grinned back.
"The reason why I have not contacted you in any way before this is because I wanted to immediately get to you, OneSec. Should I put some respect to this generation greatest ever gamer? Mr. OneSec?"
"I don't hate being called, Mr... So you can definitely call me Mr. OneSec. In return, I will call you, Monitoring Division Head. How about that?"
"Of course. That's a good deal for us two to keep respect to both our name."
I smiled and immediately do so.
"Monitoring Division Head. You said that you wanted to get to me as soon as possible. About what? Please elaborate about that."
"Of course, Mr. OneSec. The reason why there's no initial contact with you is because we're so pressed for time and we want to get things prepared as soon as possible. I've decided that the first player to know about this is you, Mr. OneSec. As the player who hold the game on your back, giving you the information about this the earliest might be beneficial to us too."
"... Well then, Monitoring Division Head. What is that information? Going in circle will only get me mad, you know?"
"Ah, my apologies. First of all, Mr. OneSec. Please take a look at this."
Tywin immediately gave me a letter that is directed to me.
"This is?"
"A letter. If you open it right now, I will explain it to you as you were reading it. How about you open it?"
As I'm about to open it, Michi rang the bell and immediately brought me back to reality.
"Sorry to disturb you. Shiro, you're not forgetting me that I'm also lasered focus on hearing it you know?"
"Ah.."
"Sorry Mr. Tywin. But can I teach my lover something first?"
"Eh? Ah, s-sure."
Uh oh, I would've liked for Michi to not pay us any attention because there's food in front of her. But it seems like... I cannot... So...
"Close your eyes!"
I yell at Tywin and he did. I immediately kiss Michi to divert her attention. With blushing face and smoking head... The waiter comes and immediately ask Michi what she would like to order.
Attention diverted. I immediately look back at Tywin. Situation has turn back to normal.
"Let's... Bring her along to the conversation."
It's dangerous if I let her out of the conversation. The way back home might be filled with something. Tywin agreed to my condition and we just waited for Michi.
