Chapter 71: No more playing around.

After we decided to put Michi on the same even playing field... Tywin resets the entire situation and immediately give Michi her own Letter.

"Now, if the both of you open your letter, I will explain it to you as we go."

Michi smiles lightly and then rip her letter open that's saying 'To Ms. Mercy.' While mine read 'To Mr. OneSec.'

I take out the content of that letter and read the paper inside... The forefront of the paper is saying 'You are invited.' Before we can go even further to read the letter content. Tywin interrupts us by immediately explaining what the letter is about. Which is quite convenient.

"The Letter was sent directly from Sir Jamie, the CEO of the company. If the two of you would compare your letter, you can see that your letters are personalized to you. But Sir Jamie wants me to just explain it to you directly so that the two of you are in line with each other.

Simply, us as a company wanted to invite you, Mr. OneSec and Ms. Mercy to a gathering of the top 100 Rankers in the entire world. For the two of you, Sir Jamie wants me to give the two of you a special treatment. That's why I decided to contact you personally. Other players only get this invitation through their mails.

Michi immediately look at me with the look of uncertainty. Obviously she wants to go. But she cannot go unless I go. So, I look at Tywin for some more information from his expression.

I can judge from his face that he wanted me to come. But not because the reason that he stated. He doesn't want to know me better. At least, that's not the front of his intention. I can feel something else from his face...

"Okay then, Tell me about this, Monitoring Division Head. You said that this is for vacation so that we can get to know each other better. But there's something else that I can see in your face. I WILL make my decision right now if you tell me, what is your true intention?"

"As expected from Mr. OneSec. You can see right through me like it's nothing. Well, our true intention is to directly see, who is the true leader that should lead Eclipse Online. The atmosphere immediately get intense as I did that. Michi was nervous and Tywin can be seen a bit scared. Everyone here knows that I'm not just good at Eclipse. I'm good at real life too. So if I'm offended, Tywin cannot escape my grasp.

"Understandable. Eclipse is just a growing game that have a massive player base. It needed someone to be able to constantly bring new people in and have those new people reach for the top player. It's definitely easy for you to throw me to the back burner if I didn't come. But answer this question then. Do the entire company think that I'm someone who can be exchanged? If so, give me one name of that player."

Tywin smiled brightly and immediately said.

"That's the problem. We don't have anyone better to exchange you, Mr. OneSec. In term of trophy, there's no one that has more trophy in you. Not to mention, your legacy over all the VRMMO game is so big that it is just straight up disrespectful to not put you as the front of the game. I personally would like for you to BE the front of the game. Because I've been monitoring all of your movement and comparing them to other player.

There's no one in the entire world that has the same type of caliber as you have, Mr. OneSec. But most of the higher ups thinks differently. They want to believe in you, but at the same time. They would also like to believe in the potential of other player to surpass you."

Tywin finished his explanation. Michi immediately giggles and then slammed the table laughing.

"The potential of other player surpassing Shiro?! Oh my god I haven't heard something so funny and nonsensical in forever! Tell me this, Mr. Tywin. Who in the world has the potential of surpassing Shiro? Shiro is just a teenager still. Hasn't even hit Nineteen Years old yet! They dare discussing about something like Potential? Shiro, has no limit in his potential."

"I do believe in what you say, Ms. Mercy. I've been saying that to the higher ups. But most of them still doesn't believe in that. Although... There's one figure that also has the same opinion as me and you, Ms."

... There's someone else who believes something like that? I wonder who they are.

"Now Mr. OneSec. If you wanted to know who that figure is. You can meet them later when you come to this gathering. How does that makes you feel?"

"Understood. I'll come to this gathering for the sake of satisfying all of those non-believers then. I'll teach them a thing or two about not underestimating a man called 'OneSec.'"

Tywin and Michi smiled brightly when they heard my decision. I'm not exactly disappointed or angry in any kind. In fact, I'm excited. I want to meet who believes in the legacy that I've made. Who believes in a teenager other than Tywin who's been monitoring everything.

"Well then, when and where is the meet up going to be?"

"Yes. The meeting will be held in Europe in two weeks time. For you and your chosen players, Mr. OneSec. We will send over a private jet to cut the time that it takes for you and your friends to reach the meeting spot. If you are wondering where is the specific location... It's Ibiza."

... Spain huh... I look over at Michi and she was excited. This is the first time that we gone on a trip outside of Asia together... It's been a while since I'm out of this country too.

"Well then, you can expect me, Mercy, Kaixen and Blossom in two weeks time."

After talking for an extended period of time, the food that Michi had ordered, finally come.
