"Shiro, Shiro my dear. Are you busy right now?"
"Hm? Michi? What's going on?"
As I'm eating breakfast in my days off, Michi came down running from upstairs toward me who's sitting on the dining room doing nothing but munching on toast with strawberry jam on top. I've been tired for the past couple of days from grinding my ass off in the game. So, I wanted to take time off and not think about anything.
The fact that Michi is approaching me in this time, means that she wants to go on a date. Not because she wanted to, because I NEEDED IT!
"You want to go out somewhere? I feel like you've been going at it pretty hard on the smithy. You didn't even get a chance to explore Coggensville properly. Other people has been pretty wary about what your next move. So they've been taking the resources on Coggensville to prevent you to move too far out of their mind."
"Ah, I needed to go out with you, actually. It's been a while since we've gone somewhere with just the two of us for the sole purpose of having fun. Oh, you don't need to worry about other player catching to my progress. The game is entering a state where everything needs to be calculated and precise. They're not going to be able to do anything too farfetched this early into the fifth floor."
There's too much stuff that I couldn't ignore that anyone wouldn't ignore because I didn't ignore it. So, I can leverage my knowledge to keep everyone at bay and not do anything that might put my plan into shambles. By doing so, I can manipulate everyone to continue grinding in the same area because they don't know what they needed to do.
Pro Players are still busy with RTA and won't be doing anything in Coggensville. Casual players are waiting for me to make my move so that they can sync their move with mine. So, everything is going according to my plan.
"I understand. More players are pouring into Coggensville, Dion and Sakura are keeping them at bay so that they won't be able to mess with Paradies progress in the floor."
"Thank god we have them then. Anyway Michi. You want to go somewhere specific? I could definitely use some together time right now."
"I don't really have any specific place to go. I'm about to say it's up to you to pick where we should go."
Michi sat down next to me and immediately lean on my shoulder as she too, are bored for a bit. I immediately put my head gently on her head. I planned on smashing my head for comedic purpose, but it's not appropriate right now.
Since she said it's up to me, I guess it's up to me to decide where to go huh. I have some places that I could go to with her.
As I'm thinking about where to go, my phone rang on the table. Michi immediately muttered.
"Unknown?"
"Oh? That's weird. No one should know our personal number."
This is the first time that an unknown caller called us. Usually, people will text me first before calling me to see if I'm free or not. So this is something unexpected.
Anyway, without overthinking stuff. I pick up the call and immediately wait for the other side to spoke.
"Hello, I am sorry for calling you suddenly without making an appointment first, Mr. Shiro Shirone."
"... Who are you and how do you know it's me?"
"My apologies, I was about to explain who I am to you. My name is Tywin. The Head of the Monitoring Division of the game Eclipse Online. I'm here to speak to you about something important."
"I see, Mr. Tywin, can we spoke directly face to face with each other? I'm not keen on speaking about some serious matter over the phone. I would like to talk to you directly. Is that possible with you?"
If it is something serious, I don't like to talk about it over the phone. It's just doesn't fit the style that I've been going for. Serious thing should be taken care of seriously.
"Eh? Face to face?"
He seems to be surprised that I would like to talk about it face to face. So I turn off the mic and look at Michi.
"It's natural, Shiro. Just listen to him a bit more and you will understand why."
Okay, so Michi seems to understand and sympathize with Mr. Tywin reaction...
"Is it not possible for you to speak with me face to face regarding this specific matters? Or is it just not serious enough for you to spend time with me face to face to get to it?"
"No no no, Mr. Shiro. We can definitely meet up and talk about this. But... It's just surprising for me that the number one player would like to waste his time in some real life matter. Wouldn't you like to be grinding at all time?"
Ah. I see. That's what Michi's referring to. Understandable, definitely. Usually, I would like to spend my time on grinding on Eclipse Online. But unnecessary amount of grinding will only lead to nothing but boredom. So, I would like to do some real life matter every now and then.
"Mr. Tywin. A King never stopped grinding, but I am no King in only Eclipse Online. Real life too, I am a King. I should never neglect my real life matter and focused only on Eclipse."
"Understood Mr. Shiro. If you would like, we can meet up in three hours. I will send you the address later. Please bring Ms. Michi Harone with you too. It would be beneficial for me to talk to you two about this. It includes the top 100 Rankers after all."
"Very well then. I'll bring her along. I'll be at the address at exactly three hours from now."
"Yes. Thank you for your time. I will see you there."
The call ended and immediately, that same unknown caller send me the address of the meeting place in an instant. When I look at the place I was shook.
"Michi. We have our place for date."
"Eh?"
She take a look at my phone and she immediately went blank.
"This is a high class restaurant that is impossible to get reservation to!"
One of the best restaurant in the country. It takes two hours for us to drive to get there. So we need to be quick to be on time!
"Michi! Let's go!"
"Y-Yes!"
A meeting in a restaurant that I've been wanting to get to? I could never asked for a better thing!
