Baxter walked into the room to find Alaric standing next to Ivanka's bed, his both hands in his trouser pockets.
He passed a stare between both of them, noticing the uncertain look on Ivanka's face.
"Hey," he tilted his head at Alaric.
"Hi." Alaric replied shortly.
Baxter walked over to the bed, wrapped his hand around her shoulders and kissed her forehead.
"How're you feeling?" He asked in hushed tones.
"I'm good. Your um... brother was just saying hi."
Baxter glanced at Alaric and passed him a nod.
Few seconds later, Alaric started at the door. To Ivanka's surprise, Baxter followed.
Alaric was on the other side of the door and was about walking away when he heard the door open and close again. He turned and that was when he noticed Baxter had followed him out.
