Chapter 29

1992 Words
George's PoV Beatrice is already in the room and says she wants to rest. What if I leave first so she can relax even more? I'll go to my market first and spend some time there managing my market operations. I got up, grabbed my coat, left the house, and drove straight to my car. I arrived, buckled my seatbelt, started the engine, and moved away from my mansion, blaming myself earlier; Beatrice was having a hard time now because of me. When I arrived at the market, I parked my car and walked out; someone noticed me and immediately bowed to me out of respect. But I ignored them and went inside, where Edwardo approached me as I walked to my office. "What brings you here? Do you have any thoughts on the market?" Edwardo asked me right away. "I came here to hang out and to think. I have to leave Beatrice alone at home now," I told Edwardo as I walked into my office. "Is that so, boss? Take your time here," Edwardo said as he walked away from me. I entered my office, shut the door, sat on the sofa in my office, took out my phone, and opened my social media account because Beatrice created social media account for me. I noticed she was online, but she did not message me or inquire about where I was. Maybe she was resting. Maybe Beatrice is still in her room and doesn't realize I'm not at home; I just scrolled through my social media and don't care what I see now. It's difficult to distract yourself, and it's even more difficult when you don't have anyone to talk to. I feel better when I speak to Beatrice, but I can't speak to her right now because she says she's tired and needs some time by herself. I was surprised when someone called, and the name was Beatrice, and I wasn't sure if I should answer; if I didn't, I'm sure she'd be angry with me, and when I got home, she'd ask me a lot of questions. "Hello," I said as I answered Beatrice's phone call. [Where are you now? You're not at home right now,] Beatrice inquired. "I'm here in the market right now, just taking care of something," I told Beatrice on the phone, and she didn't seem tired anymore. [All right, can you get me some food when you get home? I'm hungry now,] Beatrice said, and I got up right away. "I would buy it now. What do you want to eat?" I asked Beatrice. [I want spicy noodles and a burger. Buy some of yours if you want,] Beatrice said, and I wondered why she wanted spicy noodles. "All right, wait for me there until I get home. I will buy you the spicy noodles that you wanted," I said, and she hung up the phone. Beatrice requested spicy noodles, so there is no problem if I purchase what she desires. I completed the paperwork that was required. "Edwardo, I am finished with my paperwork and will be going home; you manage the market report if anything comes in," I said to Edwardo as I walked out of my office. "OK, Boss," Edwardo said. I came out of my office and couldn't help but smile; I thought Beatrice would be upset because I wasn't there, but when she asked me to buy some food, I became energetic again. I immediately got in my car. I started my engine, wondering where I could get the food she wanted. I took out my phone and went to the Google app listed here, searching for a restaurant that offers such a service. "Moon Restaurant" was the name of something I saw. I started driving there because the app has a location; it's good to know how to use the phone. I don't have trouble finding the places I'm looking for. I arrived quickly, parked my car, and approached the waiter standing outside. "May I take some food out here?" I inquired with the waiter. "Of course, sir, what is your order?" The waiter inquired about my order. "I'd like some spicy noodles, burger, and one cola, please, and it's for takeout," I said, and the waiter nodded and wrote down my order. "This is what spicy noodles look like, sir," the waiter said as he showed me the spicy noodles, which looked delicious. "All right, I'll get that," I said to the waiter. "Cash or a credit card?" The waiter inquired. I replied, "Cash," and when I paid, he showed me the price, so I took my wallet and paid for it, then handed over the receipt to me and waited for my order. While waiting for Beatrice's order, I scrolled through my social media accounts, watching videos and reading posts to pass the time in the restaurant until my order arrived. I'm relieved because I'll be able to talk to Beatrice again when I get home. When I finished waiting for my order, I took the food still in the plastic and returned to my car. I got back in my car and put the food aside before driving again. I soon arrived at my house, parked my car, and when I came out, I saw Beatrice carrying a cat. "You've arrived," Beatrice said, and the cat was black, but I didn't feel bad about it. "Can you tell me where you got that cat?" I asked her, and then I took up the plastic-stuffed food. "The cat? He came to your house with his noise earlier, so I took him. He looks comfortable to me," Beatrice said to me, and when I approached, the cat became terrified of me and ran away. "The cat probably knows who I am," I said, to which Beatrice laughed. "He won't come back for sure because he saw you; let's go inside," Beatrice said, and when we got inside, I gave her food. "Enjoy your food," I said as Beatrice took her food from me. Beatrice sat in a chair here at the table, and I sat down as well. She opened the spicy noodles and then took the burger and the cola. "Are you not going to eat?" Beatrice inquired. "I am full by the time you eat today," I said, and she smiled. Beatrice began eating while I was staring at her, and she is now content as she eats. Beatrice looked at me because she noticed I was looking at her. "I love the flavor of these spicy noodles; where did you get them?" Beatrice asked, and then she opened the cola. "At the Moon Restaurant," I said, and Beatrice nodded. Beatrice just continued to eat while I stared at her; when she finished, Beatrice stood up, and I would have stood up I had felt something outside. I dashed out to see who was here; I couldn't see anything, but I could feel him. He was just around the corner. "Don't hide any longer. Even if you're hiding, I can feel you, and I know it is you, Garry." I said this, and then Garry appeared, and he was back. "Aren't going to give up?" When I asked Garry, he laughed. "I'm here because your parents talked to me and told me that you should break up with Beatrice," I was irritated with my parents yet again. "They like to mess my life. Did they pay you a million dollars to tell me to break up with her?" When I asked Gary, Beatrice burst into the scene. "To whom are you speaking, George?" Beatrice inquired. "Hello again," Garry said. I was surprised as he stepped right in front of Beatrice. "Hello, I haven't been able to thank you before," Beatrice said as I approached them, softly pushing Garry away from her. "Leave when you have nothing else to say," I said to Garry. "If you don't leave Beatrice, they'll kill the person you love," Garry said, and my dark aura suddenly appeared. "Is that so? What if I also kill them?" When I said that, I smiled at myself. "What exactly are you saying, George? They're your family; don't kill them!" Beatrice spoke up, and I looked at her. "You don't understand my situation right now. Please go inside and leave it to me," I told Beatrice, but she didn't listen to me. "Is what you're saying true, Garry?" Beatrice inquired about Garry. "I'm telling the truth; I'm not going to lie to you because I'm your close friend," Garry told Beatrice, which surprised me. "Friend? What exactly do you mean?" Beatrice inquired. "Don't you remember I used to be your friend, Beatrice?" Garry inquired, and I escorted Garry away from our home. When I pushed Garry, he laughed. "Why are you so upset with me? I'm just a rival, but we won't kill each other because Caroline told us not to fight again," Garry informed me. "Yes, you are correct. I'm still following that up to this point, but stop right now; she has no recollection of anything, so let her go now." When I told Garry, he smirked. Beatrice's PoV I'm not sure where they went. I was about to go inside when someone covered my mouth. I felt my body become weak and didn't know who lifted me, but I felt a strong wind when I opened my eyes. "Are you awake? Do you have any idea who I am?" The man inquired about me, and that man's voice was fuzzy because I was regaining my strength and consciousness. "Who are you?" I sighed as I noticed he was dressed in a red suit. "So you don't remember anything; you're still Beatrice Mary Victoria," he explained, and I have no idea why he kidnapped me. "What is your motivation? Why did you abduct me?" I asked him, and he laughed. Is he crazy? "So that George would come here and you didn't know that man is your husband in the past life," he said to me and how much information he knows about us? "I don't know you, and I don't remember anything, but if you want to see George and make me become a hostage, I won't call him for you," I told him, surprised when he touched my cheek with one of his hands. "If you don't call him, I'll kill you! You're his only weakness, so I'll take advantage of it!" I looked at him as he said this. "I'm not going to call him!" The man laughed as I growled at him. "Scream, hurry up!" He said to me, showing me his sharp nails, that he was about to strangle me when I yelled. "George! Please help me!" I yelled and looked up because someone was approaching, and it was George. "f**k you, Louis!" George sighed, but I was taken aback when Louis stabbed me. I looked at him, and he smiled back. I noticed a lot of blood in my chest, and I had trouble breathing right away. I can feel my chest hurting. "George..." I collapsed when I realized George had used his power to harm Louis. This was probably the last time I would see George. I was weak and had blurry vision. I died again, and I didn't remember anything before dying; I felt my tears drip and saw him approaching me. "Beatrice!" When George held my chin, he yelled, and I closed my eyes. Is this the end for me? I'm not sure if I'll live again, but if I do, I hope to see him again and remember him right away; I don't want to hurt him like before. I don't want him to be sad again because of me, and I don't want to abandon him because I love him so much, and I feel sorry for myself. I hope that I didn't die that time and this won't happen. **
