Chapter 15

Beatrice's PoV Our food is on the way; I ordered two chicken nuggets and a portion of pasta because chicken with pasta is delicious. "I can't believe you're going to have dinner with me!" We ordered food because I couldn't think of anything to cook. "Victoria?" Someone was calling outside, so I got up. I went out and paid for the food I had ordered, and then I was given the change. I went inside and placed our food on the table while George sat in the chair, and I retrieved some water from the refrigerator. I took two glasses and placed them on the table, along with the water in the large bottle. I filled my glass and George's glass with water. "I haven't inquired about your mother's health." When I sat down, George asked me abruptly. "She's fine. My brother is watching over mom," I told George as I opened the box of chicken and nuggets. "How come they didn't ask who your boss was?" George inquired. "I told them a story; I didn't say you were a vampire," I replied to George, and I immediately smelled my pasta when I opened it. "When you say it, maybe they won't believe because you're the first one who doesn't believe in fantasies," George told me, and I just inherited it from my mother. We began eating, and George was not surprised while he was eating. Maybe he doesn't have a taste in food, so I should ask him. "I have a taste in my food," George admitted, and I was taken aback. "You are reading my mind," I said while laughing. "I also know your heart beats when we're close to each other and when I kiss you," George said, and I put down my fork. "Do you feel every movement and breath I make?" I asked George, and he nodded, making me feel extremely embarrassed. "Embarrassing! Do you ever hear me sing while I'm taking a bath?" I inquired to George, and he nodded once more. I took a deep breath and drank some water before eating chicken nuggets with pasta once more. It's so embarrassing what else I sometimes think. Maybe he discovered I don't know what to cook, so he said I could order. George's PoV When I'm done eating, I can still read Beatrice's thoughts; when will she stop thinking? She is aware that I can tell what she's thinking, and she's still thinking. "Don't think so much; what if I read your thoughts? There's nothing wrong with your thoughts," I informed Beatrice, and she finished her meal as well. "I don't know what I'm going to do. Maybe what I'm thinking is embarrassing," Beatrice said after drinking water. I also got up and left Beatrice there, thinking that if I were always there in front of her, Beatrice would be confused. I went to my room and lay down on my bed. I have a bed, but I don't sleep; I have a bed because Caroline and I used to have s*x in it. I have no choice but to keep an eye on Beatrice; perhaps she will remember something if she sleeps tonight. My phone abruptly rang, and Johnny texted me. What did he say? From: Johnny Your parents will be coming there again, Master. I was frustrated again, so I awoke when I went to bed, went out of my room, and when I went downstairs, I heard mom and dad's car but couldn't see Beatrice. I went out, and it's good they didn't bring a woman because they discovered that I have a fake girlfriend, Beatrice. "How are you, my son? Have you married your girlfriend yet after two months?" Mom inquired, and I laughed. "It's too soon for her, mom. Why are you interfering? I know I'm a prince, but I don't need to inherit something from you," I told mom, and she didn't argue. "All we want is for you to be happy again, son; are you happy with your new one?" Mom inquired. "Yes, I'm happy; I'll just let you know when we're getting married, not right now," I said when they were about to leave when mom hugged me. "I know you're no longer a child, but we're worried about you; don't you still want to introduce her to us thoroughly?" Mom asked, and I was nervous because they would know she was only mortal if I introduced Beatrice to them. "She's not here now, mom; she's on vacation with her family," I lied to them. "Is that so? It's okay. We're leaving." I was perplexed because mom and dad did go. "Just make sure you don't lie to us solely because of your ex-wife," dad cautioned. "I can't lie to you, Dad," I told him before leaving. When I went inside, I saw Beatrice, who was stunned; it was clear that she had been here before and had been listening in on our conversation. "Did you hear everything?" I inquired of Beatrice. "Yes, I heard everything, but it's fine with me because you said I was on vacation with my family," Beatrice said, and I smiled. I hugged Beatrice, and she hugged me back. "I want to be beside the bed with you even though I'm not sleeping," I said to Beatrice. "You can stay next to me when I go to sleep as long as you don't hurt me," Beatrice said. "Is it possible that I'm going to do something to you? I want you to be by my side; it's also inconvenient that my family is still involved in my life." When I told Beatrice, she patted my back. I'm already in Beatrice's room, and she's lying down, still on her phone, so I went to bed, and she was surprised. She continued to use her phone. She looked at me and smiled. "Are you embarrassed because you're lying right next to me?" I questioned Beatrice. "I'm not used laying down with you, but it's okay now because I'm comfortable next to you," Beatrice explained. Caroline's soul is in her, which explains why it's so comfortable. "Are you going to sleep yet? You've previously used your phone for an hour now," I informed Beatrice. "All right, I'm going to sleep," Beatrice said, placing her phone on top of the drawer and turning to face me. "Are we going to go on a date tomorrow?" Beatrice informed me. "Yes, I'd like to go on a date. Where would you like to go?" I asked Beatrice, and she pondered. "You know I can read your mind. You'll be surprised where we're going," I told Beatrice. "I want to go to the amusement park. We used to go there when dad was still alive," Beatrice said. I was unaware that her father was no longer alive. "Okay, show me where we're going because I don't understand what you said," I said, and Beatrice nodded. I smiled as Beatrice closed her eyes, hugged her, and she didn't complain. I just hugged her like this all night and wouldn't let her go; as time passed, I felt her hug me, and I was surprised. My heart is racing now; Beatrice also hugged me so tightly that she thought she had a big pillow; the following day, Beatrice moved and awoke. She quickly backed away and looked at the clock, shocked at what she had done. "Did hug you?" I stood up when Beatrice asked. "Yes, you hugged me," I said to Beatrice, and I noticed her cheek blush. "I thought I had a big pillow," Beatrice apologized, and I messed up her hair even more. "That's fine, you sleep well," I said to Beatrice as I walked away from her bed. I exited her room and went into mine, taking the clothes we had bought the day before. I took a bath, and when I was done, I was held by my chest because my heart had not stopped racing all night. After all, Beatrice was so close to me. I finished putting on my clothes, put on my white shoes, fixed my hair, and exited my room. I also saw Beatrice come out of her room, dressed in black, with shorts and black shoes. "You look great in it!" Beatrice said to me as she examined my body. "Your clothes are also great on you," I said, and Beatrice smiled. "Let's have breakfast first," Beatrice said as we walked downstairs. I sat in the chair and waited for Beatrice because she was making sandwiches; when she finished, Beatrice handed it to me, and I ate it right away after drinking the nearby water. She was taken aback by how quickly I finished. "Are you in a hurry?" I laughed when Beatrice asked. "I'm not in a rush. This is how I really ate, eat there," I told Beatrice as she bit into her sandwich. When Beatrice was finished eating, she drank the milk in her glass; when she finished, Beatrice stood up, and I noticed her legs were a little thick. They are the same as Caroline's body. When something happens to us, I will know if they are the same as Caroline's body. "Come on," Beatrice said, and I stood up and walked out along with her. I got into my car, as did Beatrice, fastened my seat belt, and started the engine. She pointed out the location of the amusement park, which she identified as Raze Park. "It looks like fun here," I said. And Beatrice smiled at me. "But I need to withdraw first so that we have money," I explained as I drove away. We started by going to a nearby ATM booth. "You're going to wait here. I will be back," I told Beatrice as I walked away from my car to withdraw some money. Taking advantage of the fact that there was no line, I took out my credit card and entered it at the booth. I pressed 20,000, and I took out the money and my card. I immediately put the cash and card in my wallet and returned to my car, where I heard the music on Beatrice's phone. "Do you like music?" Beatrice inquired. "It's a little bit, but Caroline loves music; you can't say you and Caroline are the same by chance because I've observed you many times," I told Beatrice. "You were almost all the same. I knew it," I said, and Beatrice was taken aback. "I hope I'm your wife," Beatrice said as I resumed my drive to Raze Park. We arrived at Raze Park an hour later; it was a little far from my house; I parked my car, and Beatrice was the first to emerge. I also went out and fixed my clothes; I'm not used to what I'm wearing, but I'll wear them for Beatrice because she said it suits me. **
