Chapter 21

George's PoV It's been two months, but Beatrice always says she doesn't remember anything; now I'm going to ask her because we had a dinner date tonight; we're here at the restaurant, and she just returned from the restroom. "I thought our food was here," Beatrice said as she sat. "I'll ask you once more. Do you recall anything, Beatrice? Two months have passed, and please tell me if you remember something." When I said that to Beatrice, she became sad. "I don't remember anything, but I already have feelings for you; I love you now." Beatrice averted her gaze when she told me that. "I can't believe you like me," I told Beatrice, knowing she'd be even more surprised because I like and love her as well. "I like you, and I love you too," I told Beatrice, and she was stunned. I knew she was Caroline because it would have been impossible for me to fall in love with her if she was someone else. "We both like each other, but how did you feel about me? Is it because you're aware that Caroline's soul is in my body?" Beatrice inquired. "Yeah, because of that, but I know you're Caroline and not someone else for me," I told Beatrice as the food we had ordered arrived. "Eat first. It appears you're hungry," I advised, and Beatrice drank some wine then started eating. "Does that mean we'll continue to date every weekend?" I nodded and drank my wine as Beatrice asked. "I'm glad you like and love me too," Beatrice said to me, and her cheeks flushed when I looked at her. I took a portion of food while Beatrice was eating so I wouldn't appear strange in front of others, who might think I was feeding this woman with me. She was complete when she finished eating, and she drank the water alongside the wine. "I'm entirely stuffed; are you going to the market tomorrow? Because you went earlier on before this dinner date happened," Beatrice said to me, and I smiled back. "I don't do anything there except look at what they're doing and what the order process is," I told Beatrice, my gaze now fixed on her lips. "All right, I'll clean the house; it is dirty again," Beatrice told me, and I shook my head. "You're no longer my maid. How many times do I have to tell you? I can clean my entire mansion for you, and if you need money, I can give it to your mother." She was taken aback when I told her. "You're right, I'm your girlfriend, and then I clean the house like a maid, but isn't that also a housewife's job?" I was surprised when Beatrice asked. "I'm not married yet, but if you're Caroline, you are my wife," I explained to Beatrice. "But you have to marry me again because I have a family, and I am human, and when I remember everything, I will pretend that I knew you because I was your maid," Beatrice said. I don't mind if I marry her again. We tied the knot for the second time if that happens. "I can do that. I can marry you again," I told Beatrice, and her cheek flushed, and she averted her gaze once more. "You're blushing again," I said, and Beatrice got up. "Let's go home; I'm done eating," Beatrice said to me, and I got up. We left the restaurant, went to my car, and drove back home. Since that incident, Johnny has purchased my new car because when I don't have anything to use to get to my market, I can't use my strength to run fast to get their people might notice me, of course. When I started the engine, I fastened my seatbelt and looked at Beatrice, who had also fastened her seatbelt. I began driving, and while we were on the road, I noticed Beatrice on her phone. We eventually arrived at my house, where I parked my car and unbuckled my seatbelt. Beatrice went out, so I went out as well, following her into the house. When I entered the house, I surprised Beatrice by hugging her, kissing her neck, touching her waist, and restraining me. "Will you do it to me right away after I finish confessing to you?" She asked me, and I laughed because I thought she'd fall when I teased Beatrice. "I just want to kiss you on the neck," I explained as I removed my coat. "Do you want to kiss? Or perhaps you'd like to drink my blood?" Beatrice asked, and I laughed because why would I do that? I only did it before because I desperately needed mortal blood. "I won't do that again, you are Caroline, and I don't want to hurt you again," I told her, and I moved closer to her. "You are so important to me, and if something happens to you, I don't know what to do. Maybe I won't be able to control myself if something bad happens to you and too late to save you," I explain to Beatrice, and she touches my cheek. "Nothing terrible will happen to me; I will always be cautious, and I have a phone so that I can contact you immediately. If someone tries to hurt me, I will scream. I'm sure you can hear me," Beatrice informed me. "You don't need a phone to call me; just shout, and I'll come right away," I told her as she smiled. I was surprised when Beatrice kissed me unexpectedly, so I kissed her while touching her cheek; I don't know why, but I didn't want to let go of her kissing me. I could feel Caroline in her, and my heart was racing, and I could hear Beatrice's heartbeat as well. I let go of Beatrice's kiss, smiled at her, and moved her hair because it was on her cheek. "I'm sorry if I startled you," she apologized, and I hugged Beatrice. I don't want to touch Beatrice right now because I have a lot of respect for her, and I need to wait for her to remember everything, even if it takes another year. I'll let go when I hug. "Take a bath, then rest," I advised, and Beatrice nodded. Beatrice went upstairs, and I went to the fridge and took a pack of blood, which I then placed in the glass I was holding, drank the animal blood, and then washed the glass. I sat in my chair and considered how I could introduce myself to Beatrice's parents to be aware that Beatrice has a boyfriend and would not have to worry that she was in my mansion every day. After a few minutes, I saw Beatrice descend, and she was now dressed in her pajamas; she smiled at me, and I approached her quickly. "Why are you smiling at me?" I inquired Beatrice. "I have nothing to say; all I want is for you to be in my room tonight," Beatrice told me, surprising me. "Why do you want me every day in your room? You know that I'm not sleeping," I told Beatrice, but she didn't answer me. Beatrice took my hand, and we went upstairs; once in her room, she forced me to sit on the bed while she lay down. She smiled and extended her hand, which I took, and she closed her eyes. "Why are you not putting me to bed? Do you not wish for me to hug you as I did yesterday?" When I inquired, Beatrice opened her eyes. "I wish I could, but perhaps you could do something to me because I know you lack self-control," Beatrice said, and my heart raced. I smiled at Beatrice and kissed her forehead; she was taken aback and immediately moved away, and I lay down to bed. I hugged her, and she closed her eyes once more; the following day, all I did was stare at her as she slept soundly. I stroked her cheek, and she regained consciousness; Beatrice looked at me. "Good morning," I said, and Beatrice smiled at me. "It's nice sleeping next to you," Beatrice said, and I released the hug. "Because you're comfortable with me, so you sleep well. I hope I can feel that well when I sleep, but I know it will take a long time," I told Beatrice. "How is that taking so long?" Beatrice inquired of me. "You know, if I die and have reincarnation, I might have a chance to be mortal," I explained, and Beatrice immediately rose to her feet. "You're correct, but sometimes it's not a good idea to sleep because there's a nightmare, but I'll only have that once," Beatrice explained, and I inquired as to what her nightmare was. "Tell me about your worst nightmare." I inquired Beatrice. "She was blurred as well, but I was the woman who died, and my hand was covered in blood; after that, my vision gradually blurred, and I woke up immediately," Beatrice explained. "I already know what that is, but you don't have to know because you'll get hurt," I said, but Beatrice grabbed my hand. "I'd like to know if it's about Caroline," Beatrice said, explaining why she seems to refer to Caroline as someone else, which is also her. "Why does Caroline appear to be a different person to you? We know her soul is in your body," I asked, and Beatrice didn't say anything. "Because you don't remember anything, the person in your dream is Caroline, the person you used to be. Caroline committed suicide because she believed I was killed in the fight between vampires and humans," I told Beatrice, and when I looked at her, she was taken aback. "That's what happened; I'm sure I regret that but I can't remember anything now," Beatrice explained. "If only you didn't remember that, and all you should remember are the happy memories," I said to Beatrice, kissing her cheek. "Come on, let's go down because I know you're hungry because it's morning," I said, and Beatrice nodded. We went downstairs, and Beatrice immediately went to the kitchen and began preparing her breakfast. On the other hand, I sat here in the chair to talk while she ate. We sat down, and she ate her sandwich after completing her breakfast preparations. "If I regret what happened in the previous life, I hope I don't remember that tragic ending," Beatrice said to me, looking at me. "I want to apologize to you if I'm Caroline; I'm sorry because I committed suicide because I believed whoever told me you were dead," Beatrice said, shocking me. She is sincere, and they are just as much the same as Caroline now how genuine you used to be, Caroline. **
