7. I like you

Kang Ray dropped her at the apartment and she waved at him with a beautiful blush.

“What are you doing tomorrow?” He asked.

“I… I will go and find another job.” She pouted sadly.

“Don’t go.”

“Why?”

“Wait for me tomorrow.” He said and smiled at her. He drove the car away and she saw the car until it disappeared. He was strange and naughty. But, she liked to be with him. He was making her feel special and important. She was feeling that she really liked him very much just in three days. She blushed and walked into the apartment.

Lee Jia was sleeping on her bed and was thinking about Kang Ray. She was blushing while remembering those intimate moments with him. Nobody could dare to touch her even she used to work as a dancer in the nightclub. But, this man was different. He even kissed her and today…they were just about an inch far from making love. She blushed and slept n her stomach while holding the soft pillow below her chest.

Kang Ray was treating her strangely as she was his girlfriend. It was quite joyful and amazing to have such a boyfriend. She hid her face in the pillow.

On the big bed, Kang Ray blushed when he listened to her mind. He called her to ask but he did not want her to stop thinking about him. He understood that she was falling for him and that he wanted to do.

The next evening

“Where are you?”

“I am at home. What’s wrong?” She asked.

“Get ready. I am coming to pick you up.” He hung up the call and she got confused. He was coming to pick her up which meant he was going to take her somewhere. She joyfully rushed to the bedroom and found a simple pink dress like she was going on a date. Generally, she put on jeans and shirts but suddenly she wanted to look pretty in front of him. She had two dresses only that were neither costly nor amazing. But, she was looking pretty in that dress.

She heard the horn and looked out from the window. The familiar big car was parked down the building. She jumped in joy and rushed to see him. When he saw her walking out of the apartment, he got out of the car and opened the door for her. His eyes turned soft when he saw her. But in a moment, his eyes turned dark because she did not have her wings. She smiled shyly at him with a gentle gaze and got into the car.

“You have a giant business. You should have been busy.” She broke the silence and said.

“I'm never busy for you.” He said in his low and heavy voice.

“I was wondering how do you remember me in the midst of such heavy work?”

“The same way last night you were missing me.” He said quickly. Lee Jia coughed and blinked her eyes several times. How did he know that she was missing him last night?

“I did not miss you.” She pouted and hugged her chest. Kang Ray snorted.

“You can lie to your heart, not to me.” He said with arrogance. Lee Jia could not find a word to explain because she did miss him last night. She lowered her eyes with a slight blush on her pink cheeks.

“You are right. I was missing you last night.”

“Here you are.” He chuckled and did not say anything more to embarrass her.  

Kang Ray brought her to a mountain that was under Kang Group and there was a cottage on the top of the mountain. Kang Ray held her palm and brought her safely to the top of the mountain. There were colorful lights around the cottage and a small garden beside the cottage too. She turned her head and looked at him with a smile.

“It is so beautiful.”

“Thank you. Come…” He held her palm and took her to the cottage. He pulled the chair of the bar counter and she sat on the chair. He poured two glasses of wine and they ‘cheered’.

“Ray”

“Hm”

“I usually do not drink but today I am so happy that’s why I am drinking.” She said. Kang Ray grabbed her glass and did not let her drink more because she drank two glasses.

“Are you hungry? Let’s have dinner.” He said while grabbing her wrist. She did not stand up and also pulled him close to her.

“I like you.” His words were not so sober but she was speaking the truth.

“I know.” He said with a smile. She lowered her mouth as she was sad.

“You are too cold sometimes.”

Kang Ray smiled and carried her in his arms.

“I don’t want to eat. I want to talk to you.” She said while rubbing her face on his chest. He directly brought her to the bedroom and put her on the bed. He pulled the quilt for her and held her face in his warm palms. They were staring at each other with deep passion and love. Her eyes were turning slightly reddish when he was caressing her cheeks.

“Ray”

“Hm”

“Ray”

“What?” He caressed her forehead. She was calling his name as if she was enjoying doing so. Kang Ray slept beside her and embraced her tightly. Lee Jia closed her eyes tightly and slept soundly. 

It was twelve o’clock at night and there was extreme dark outside. The sound of insects had created consciousness in that serious and scary environment. The light of the moon was reaching the cottage after piercing the darkness. There was so much silence that a person could hear his own heart beating. Lee Jia changed side in sleep and started covering her body with the warmth of the blanket. Then she realized that she was sleeping alone on this big bed. She opened her eyes lazily and glanced around the room. There was a deep silence in the room and Kang Ray was not there.

Just then, she heard Kang Ray's agonizing scream and trembled due to shock. She realized that it was Kang Ray who was screaming in pain. She quickly took off the quilt and ran to the door.

“Ray” She tried to turn the doorknob but the door was locked from inside. She got panicked and tried to turn it rapidly to open the door.

“Ray, open the door.” She also knocked on the door rapidly but the door did not open.

“Ray, what’s wrong there? Please, open the door.” Her yelling was not reaching outside as he was not opening the door but she heard again his scream.

“Ray… Please open the door. Ray… What’s wrong?” She kept knocking on the door but the door did not open for almost ten minutes and she did not even hear his screams. She bit her lips and turned her head to find another way to get out of the room. She saw the window and rushed there to open it. But she got panicked when she found it locked, too. It was something strange tonight. It seemed that she was locked there knowingly but what should be the reason and what was going on out of her room. She did not lose hope and knocked on the window and shouted for help but it did not work. After that, she heard a strange and frightening roar of an animal and she trembled slightly.

“Ray…” She cried and sat on the bed while covering her body in the quilt. It seemed that there must be a wild animal in the cottage and Kang Ray locked the door that the animal could not reach to her. Kang Ray growled twice, which meant the animal must have injured him. She put her forehead on her knees and sobbed loudly.

“Ray…”

She fell asleep while crying and sobbing for him.

The morning was warm and light. Lee Jia opened her eyes and the figure turned clear. She got shocked and quickly kissed his lips while sobbing. He patted her back and did not say anything; just let her kiss on his lips and embraced her tightly.

After a long kiss, she lowered her face and hid it on his chest.

“What’s wrong?” He asked in a low voice.

“I was scared last night. Where did you go?” She complained.

“I was in just beside your room.” He caressed her head.

She gave and did not say anything about last night. It seemed that she was drunk so she was hallucinating everything.

“Don’t leave me in the future.”

“For that, you will have to live with me in the future.” He said in a low voice. Lee Jia blushed and raised her head from his chest and looked at his chest.  

“How is it possible?” She pouted.

“I can make it possible if you want to do so.” He chuckled. She dared and looked at him.
