8. Marriage Certificate

“What will you do to keep me with you?”

“Marry me.”

His sudden and cold words shocked her. She widened her eyes and stared at him. He proposed to marry her in just four days of their introduction.

“Do you propose every girl for marriage after four days?”

“I am not proposing. I am telling you that we are going to marry.” His words again stunned her. She coughed and tried to stand up to take a shower but he held her wrist tightly and did not even let her move. She looked into his firm eyes and swallowed.

“Stop joking, Ray.” She blushed.

“Get ready. We are going to get a marriage certificate.” He said in a low voice.

“I have to ask my mother…”

“She will attend us.”

Lee Jia again shocked with his words then swallowed.

“I need to think.”

“You are sure.”

Lee Jia grabbed her head in panic.

“How do you know whether I am sure or not?”

“Because I am sure.

“Ah…” Lee Jia frowned.

“How can you sure?”

“Because you like me. Don’t you?”

“Yes, but I did not think about getting married… I mean.”

“You missed me that night and thought about getting married.”

“…”

He knew everything she thought about him that night. She could not escape from it.

“Stop arguing. It’s waste of time.” He carried her in his arms and started walking towards the bathroom.

“We still have to go to register our marriage.”

He put her down and looked at her with his deep and cold eyes.

“So get ready soon. I am waiting out.” He said and left the room elegantly in his black suit.

“Ray… Hello… Just listen to me.” She called him but he locked the door and went out of the room coldly. She closed the door of the bathroom and walk to the mirror in panic. She looked at herself in the mirror for a while. Just then, she covered her face while blushing happily.

Kang Ray snorted and shook his head in the living room while drinking coffee. He could hear every word of her mind and he could feel everything she was feeling for him. It was a strange bonding so when he came to know that they were having the strange bonding, he decided to follow her and marry.

Kang Ray looked at the wristwatch just then Lee Jia walked out of the room slowly. He turned back and looked at her that she was blushing.

“Shall we go?” He asked. She smiled slightly and nodded. She followed him and he brought her to a five-star hotel for breakfast. They had their breakfast but she was shying and confused about the strange marriage. He brought her to the Head office to register the marriage. She turned her head and searched for her mother, Si Tu Mo.

“Ray, where is my mom?” She asked while looking at him.

“She has slept drunk in the happiness of your marriage so the driver did not bother her.” He said coldly. Lee Jia lowered her head sadly. She did not expect that her mother would not even attend her marriage for alcohol. He put his palm on her head and slightly smiled at her.

“Don’t worry. I will always be with you. I will never leave you alone no matter what will happen.” His words were straight and serious enough to melt her heart. She smiled satisfyingly and almost forgot the sorrow.

 Kang Ray and Lee Jia registered their marriage successfully. Kang Ray turned his head and looked at Lee Jia who was blushing and waiting for him to kiss her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and smiled slightly at her. Lee Jia was frightened and excited too because she was going to kiss openly but her nervousness had faded away when Kang Ray kissed her forehead. He did not want people to see the redness in their eyes while kissing each other.

“Let’s go home.” He said in a low voice and took her to the car while wrapping his arm on her delicate waist. They got into the car and reached the Kang Mansion. Lee Jia was so nervous when she got out of the car and looked at the giant villa in front of her. She looked at Kang Ray in a daze. She thought she married him in her dreams but when he looked at her and smiled, she came back to her senses and realized that everything was true and real. She was not dreaming. She really married Kang Ray, the head of the Kang Group of companies.

They walked to the main door of the villa where the housekeepers, managers, servants, cooks, and caretakers were standing in a line to welcome both of them.

“Welcome, Mrs. Kang.” They said together while lowering their head. Lee Jia looked at Kang Ray then looked at them with a bright smile on her lips and nodded slowly.

Kang Ray took her to the master bedroom and left her waist then placed his palms inside his pockets.

“How’s home?” He asked in a low voice.

“It is so beautiful.” She replied with a smile.

“You don’t need to bring things from your house. Everything you need is arranged in the dressing room. If you need anything still, you can ask me directly or to the housekeeper.”

Lee Jia nodded with a gentle smile. He rubbed her hair.

“I have something to do in the company. Wait for me at dinner.” He said and left the villa. Lee Jia jumped in joy and started looking at everything in the room with delight. The dressing room was bigger than her apartment. There were too many costly designer dresses, watches, footwear, purses, clutches, etc for her. He asked her the night before last night not to go and find a job. Was he planning to marry since then? She could not believe still that she had met him five days and now she was already married to him.

Lee Jia roamed in the villa the whole day and got amused by the richness. She could not visit every area of the villa and the evening fell. She was in the garden when she saw the car stopped at the front gate of the villa. She blushed when she saw Kang Ray while getting out of the car and walking towards her. She slowly walked towards him with a gentle smile on her lips. He quickly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer then kissed her fiercely. She did not expect it so she clenched his shirt tightly and trembled slightly.

After a long and passionate kiss, he quickly carried her on his shoulder and started walking towards the master bedroom. His movements were too rapid so she could not see his red eyes and she even did not know that her eyes were red, too.

Lee Jia did not say anything but thought about the next tough moments for what she was not ready still. It would be their first night after marriage. He put her on the bed and turned back and walked straight to the bathroom. Lee Jia could not understand why he did so and stared at the closed door of the bathroom. She blushed and patted her head because of her silly thinking. She heard the sound of water coming out of the bathroom and blushed. It was time for dinner and he must be tired and hungry so she thought to cook for him. When she went downstairs to the kitchen, she saw the cook and housekeeper were arranging food bowls on the dining table. She walked to the dining hall in a daze because the food was ready.

“Madam, the dinner is ready.” The housekeeper said with a gentle smile.

“When did you prepare this?” She asked while pulling a chair for her.

“This is the time when sir returns from the work and goes to take bath. He will come downstairs for dinner so we have to run according to the time.” The cook said. Lee Jia breathed deeply and did not ask anything further.

After a while, Kang Ray walked to the dining hall in comfortable clothes and made Lee Jia stunned because he was looking obviously attractive. He pulled the chair and sat beside her.

“Why didn’t you start eating?”

“I was waiting for you.”

He started serving food for her and made the housekeeper and cook stunned because he was the cool man and after marriage, they saw him serving food for his wife that made them shocked. The cook and the housekeeper left the dining hall.

“From now on, do not wait for me on dine. Eat food if you are hungry.” He said while serving for him.

“Okay.” She smiled and they began to eat.

When Kang Ray entered the master bedroom, Lee Jia was rubbing lotion on her arm while her back at the door. He walked to her at a slow pace and she realized that he was just behind her because the intense smell of his body had entered her breath already.
