9. True Identity

Lee Jia did not turn back because she was deeply shy and nervous. Kang Ray hugged her from behind and sniffed the sweet smell of lotion on her neck. Lee Jia trembled slightly when he began to kiss her neck. She did not want him to control his desires and wanted him to let his lips rub on her whole body.

Kang Ray pushed her on the wall and held her waist from behind then began to kiss her shoulders. She closed her eyes tightly and let him do everything. He slowly reached his palms in the t-shirt and rubbed her stomach and she felt chill all over her body. When she completely melted in his magic, he slowly moved his palms on her waist and reached his palms on her back. He finally found what he wanted to. He felt roughness on the left and right side of her back that must be there. When he moved his fingers and touched that portion on her back, she quickly reached her arms and jerked off his arms from her back, and held her t-shirt tightly.

“Don’t touch my back.” She said hesitatingly and did not turn back to look into his eyes.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer then kissed her neck to seduce her. But, she had lost interest when she recalled about her back and trembled slightly.

“Ray, please.” She tried to move from his grip but he did not let her go.

“Don’t worry. You will recall everything after we make love.” He said in a hoarse voice while kissing her neck.

“Ray, can we please do it later? I am not comfortable.” She said while pushing his arms on her waist. He sniffed the sweet smell on her neck with a sinner smile.

“You can’t go away from my grip, now. You will be alright. So, just let me do it. I am doing it just for you.” He said in a hoarse voice and his warm breaths made her shudder. He turned her back, pushed her on the wall, and quickly reached his palms on her back to take off her t-shirt. Lee Jia felt uncomfortable and pushed on his chest with her palms.

“Stop it, Ray.” She got panicked and raised her voice. Kang Ray was breathing rapidly. He left her and turned back to hide the redness in his eyes. Lee Jia looked at his back with tears in her eyes and bit her lips. He was her husband and it was her first night with him. He was doing all that they wanted to do but suddenly she remembered the two rough scars on her back and got ashamed to show them to him. She was afraid that he would reject her and would not touch her again or he would hate her if he would see those horrible scars.

The redness in their eyes was vanishing slowly then he turned back and looked at her with his deep and serious gaze.

“Let me see. What is it on your back?” He said while stepping towards her. She swallowed saliva in panic and stepped back to the wall.

“Please, Ray.”

“I want to see.”

“You can’t.”

“Why?”

“Please. Don’t make it tough for me.”

Kang Ray greeted his teeth when he saw tears welled up from her eyes. He took a deep breath and controlled over his anger.

“Jia… Listen to me. It will make no difference. I will see whether it was curable or not.”

Lee Jia looked at him with sadness and pity.

“My back is ugly. You will hate me.” She lowered her eyes and sobbed.

“You silly. You are my wife. How can I hate you? Don’t cry and let me see what it is.”

Lee Jia looked at him with tears in her eyes.

“Don’t think much about it. Let me see.” His words were enough to melt her and she turned back slowly while leaning her head to the wall.

Kang Ray stepped ahead and touched the end of her t-shirt then slowly raised it. Lee Jia got trembled when he saw her back almost. His face turned dark and he greeted his teeth in angry when he saw the two long scars on her back. Her wings had been cut and burnt so she had lost her memories and even when they kissed each other, her eyes got red but the scars did not lighten. He quickly lowered the t-shirt and turned back in panic. Lee Jia closed her eyes and sobbed while lowering her head.

Her wings were her strength and her memories. They were cut and burnt too. If they would have not burnt then there must have sensed in those scars and he could help her to remember the things when they would make love. That meant there were no senses in those scars so if they would make love, he would turn into his original figure and she would be frightened. He held his forehead in panic. He was thinking true. She is his wife and she had lost her memories due to her burnt wings so she could not accept his true identity.

Kang Ray sighed deeply and left the master bedroom while slamming the door. The loud slam made her shudder and she slowly turned back then looked at the door that was closed. She sobbed and hid her face in her palms. He got mad when he saw her ugly back. He would no longer like her. Would he leave her?

Lee Jia turned her head and looked at the watch on the wall. It was eleven o’clock in the night but he had not returned yet to the room after seeing her back. She was sobbing while lying on the bed while cursing her scars.

When Lee Jia fell for him and they got married, she almost forgot that she had two long ugly scars on her back that could make him mad at her. He consoled her that it would not make difference but when he saw her scars, it made difference for him and he left his wife alone in the master bedroom on the first night of marriage. She fell asleep while sobbing.

Kang Ray closed his eyes and leaned back on the chair while sweating on the whole body. He clenched his fists tightly on the arms of the chair and tried to breathe deeply.

There was intense dark outside and the villa was secluded. It was twelve o’clock at night and he had locked himself in the study room downstairs. It was the time when he had to convert naturally in his original figure for ten minutes at least every night.

He decided to marry her because he turned sure on his thoughts of being her fairy to which he had married in his past life when he saw the redness in her eyes. He got some hope so that he could make her remember what she originally was so he was trying to seduce her today. Her wings had been cut so he had only hope and those were those scars on her body. Those eyes were red when he was kissing her and that meant the cut of the wings on her back must have the redness too so he wanted to see that redness on her scars to transfer the energy in those red blinking spots so that she could regain her memories and got the energy of fairy. But, when he saw that the scars, it was completely burnt and so she could never turn into a fairy and never could gain her memories back. 

Kang ray had brought Lee Jia to the cottage on the mountain to ask her about her life but when she got drunk fell asleep, he could not drop her back to her house and locked her in the room so that when he would convert her into the beast, it would not scare her.

Today, when he came to know about the truth, he got frustrated and walked to the study room to think about her past life that made her half-fairy and half-human.

Slowly, his body started turning violet and brown and his skin was turning hard. He tightly bit his lips to control the energy and pain while turning into the beast but when his body almost turned half, he growled in pain and stumbled to the ground without energy. And, just in a minute, he was eight feet, long beast prince, with red eyes. He roared like a line and stood up on his long legs.

The warm sunlight entered the room and Lee Jia opened her eyes with a sweet moan. She recalled the last night and her nose turned sore when she looked at the empty bed. She turned her head and got stunned when she saw Kang Ray who was sitting beside the bed and staring at her. His eyes were deep and cold and it seemed that he was staring at her for a long time. Lee Jia leaned back to the bed and noticed that he was dressed in a suit, which meant he was going to the company. Before she could speak, he leaned and kissed her forehead.

Lee Jia got stunned and blinked her beautiful eyes at him.

“Have you slept well?” He asked while grabbing her small palm.
