Rose's POV Sleep that night totally became an enemy to me, as my eyes were wide open and my thoughts were wandering endlessly until I could finally see the sunrise through the window. Truthfully, no matter how hard I tried to put my mind at ease, it was just impossible as it kept on replaying the events of last night in my head. Breathing out heavily, my eyes soon drifted towards my phone which Lucas had handed over to me and, as always, my mind just couldn't stay still, as I wondered why he gave me back my phone. “Was he truly serious about letting me go?" I asked myself as I began to pace back and forth.
