Linda laid him on the bed, his eyes closed. The pain had been too much to hear, and even though been with her had healed a little, he couldn’t bear it and had fallen asleep. She drew back and watched his face. He was beautiful, with the most astonishing eyes. His perfect red lips were set in a small pout as he slept peacefully, his brows slightly furrowed.
