"I missed you. More than I can ever convey, Lyn. Sometimes I wished I wasn’t so much of a coward. Sometimes I thought you deserved better. But...it would kill me to see you with anyone else. Lyn.." He was rubbing his thumb slowly across her cheek, sending jolts of electricity through her over and over again. She nodded and wrapped her arms around him, so they were entangled. "It wasn't easy." She voices and he shook his head. "It wasn't." He added and the sat in silence their hands intertwined, her head on his shoulder. "I will walk you home, Lyn." He said after some time, standing and stretching his right hand. She looked at his outstretched hand. "Thanks." He nodded as she took the hand and he pulled her up to him. She came on him, his hands going to her waist to support her. She smiled
