Chapter twelve: Leonel Background 

Third person POV 

The meeting was about to start, Luke has been worried about his daughter since Adriano told him what was happening, he believes his daughter is a smart and will do the right thing. But he also knows that love can be fake by some while others can’t. Carol is one of those innocent girls who fall in love for real and fast, this is his worry. Will she choose the right thing or will she not just because she may be in love with someone who is not worthy of her heart. 

Leonel is nervous pacing around his room, the reason why he is nervous is because he has not been able to talk to his girlfriend/ wife for a few days now. He sighs sitting at the end of the bed as his eyes look straight not really looking at anything. He is thinking of a way to call her let her know what is going own, he already misses his little girl. His mind goes back to the time he met her, at first he didn’t know of the little girl but when he came to meet her he fell in love. 

              Three years ago 

Leonel was sitting in a bar drinking, he had been in the united states for months now and he was still having trouble finding work. Out of the corner of his eye he sees her, a girl in a red dress she takes the stool next to him. He can’t help but to turn to see her better, she is beautiful, blonde hair, big deep blue eyes, and he is wearing red lipstick. She feels his eyes on him so she turns to him, she smiles at him, a breathtaking smile. Her mind goes to think of all the things she would like him to do to her, she shakes her thoughts away trying not to look desperate. After minutes of conversing with each other they find out they have so many things in common is hard to walk away. “Would you like me to drive you home?” he asks trying to buy more time with her because even though they have talk for a while he can feel he will not see her ever again. “No need I actually live around the corner,” she pauses for a second thinking before she continues “but you can walk me if you want.” He smiles at her and nods, they pay for their drinks leaving the bar together. 

They walk for about fifteen minutes talking and holding hands when they reach her house, is not aq mansion but it is a big house. You can tell they have money just by looking at the big gorgeous house, she is about to open the gate to her house but before she can fully he kisses her. His plan was just a peck in the lip, but the kiss ended up being more, as they both deepen the kiss. She parts her lips instantly, moving her tongue towards the front of her lips meeting his tongue as it was about to enter her mouth.  

When they can’t breathe anymore, they break the kiss, “wan.... t to.... mee..t again?” she ask between pants, he smiles again as he calms his breathing before answering. “I would love to see you again,” and that’s how their relationship started. They keep seeing each other for moths and one day when he had drove her home, she invited him inside, that is the day he meets her. A eight-month-old baby girl, brown eyes, blonde hair, she gasps when she sees the baby. “She is pretty is she your nice or something?” he asks, she was about to agree when a hard voice answer before her. “No the baby is her daughter and I am tired of having to hire a nanny so she can go out have some fun.” They both turn to the voice only to see her older sister, older by eleven months, yeah guess her parents couldn’t wait after giving birth to her. 

Of course, at this point in their relationship Leonel was already in love with his girlfriend so he didn’t mind that she had a daughter she did told him about her ex. He takes her hand smiling at her affirming her that its fine he will not run from her because she has a baby. She removes her hand from him only to hug him tight, from there things got better. The baby soon turned a year old, Elise his girlfriend became worry all of a sudden and he wanted to help. “Is something bothering you Lise?” she nods but she doesn’t talk, ever since the day he met her baby Louise he has been living here at her house with her.  

“Talk to me beautiful,” “I had another fight with my sister, I want to move out but she doesn’t want to give me my part of the heritage.” He sighs months before he met her, her parents passed away leaving both girls money enough to live but the money can only be access after they turn eighteen. “I think we can stay three months more for you to turn eighteen don’t you think?” She shakes her head making him sigh again, “then what do you want to do?” a questioned he made to try and help the love of his life changed his life forever. 

“No I can’t do that I am sorry I will do anything for you except that,” he said as he pace around the room, the thing is she asked him to seduce her sister to get money from her. “Listen baby I love you and I know you love me too, please all you have to do is kiss her.” He shakes his head he can’t believe what she is asking him to do, he loves her too much he can’t kiss anyone else. “I thought you would do anything for us, I want us to be a family and the only way is by leaving. We need money please love” she pleas making him turn cupping her cheeks with both his hands. Tears rolling down her cheeks his heart breaks at the view, he kisses her lips and nods. How hard could it be all he has to do is seduce her maybe just kiss her and that’s it. 

But things didn’t turn out as planned, he walked to her room, Clarise open her door letting him in, all it took was a sad story about how he was afraid of Elise. He said he wanted to go back to Spain to his home town to start a new life and Clarise believed him. But wanted to make sure what he said was true that mixed with the lust she has for him since the day they met. She jumped in his arms, he responded the kiss, and was surprise to find that he could kiss without feeling anything for her. Even though she is pretty, but his mind picture his girl Elise as he kissed her. 

Things got heated really fast, after an hour he comes out of her room walking to his and Elise, “what took you so long?” he gives her a small yellow envelope, she opens it and takes the money out to start counting while he takes a shower. “Well how much is it?” is the first thing he asked when he came back to the room, Elise jump from the bed and hug him tight. “Thanks, I don’t know what you did but it surely worked, she gave you ten gran.” He is glad for her but he feels dirty like he betrayed her or he sold himself is more of a mixture of feelings. This brought him to think of telling her the truth of what happened. “I had s*x with her, that’s how I got that money,” what he wasn’t expecting was her question, “did you liked it?” He shook his head, “all the time all I did was think of you try and imagine I was with you instead.” This made her happy, they packed their things and before morning could come, they were out the house driving. Louise was sleeping in her car seat as they drive all night, they made stops but in the end they arrive in Canada where they live happy for a year. 

The money was soon gone and she came to him again asking him to seduce a girl they had met at a restaurant a few weeks ago. Elise had told him about how loaded in money she was and it was true, he moved in with the girl soon. They dated for three months and that’s when he left her, taking with him a lot of money. With the money they had they took a plane and went to Spain, where they opened an account for Louise as a college fund kind of thing. The money was split in two accounts more one for him and one for her. Leaving twenty-five gran in Louise college fund, they bought a small house and again they were happy until Elise started drinking spending their money. She wanted to spend Louise money so one day he went to the bank he filled all paperwork so no one not even him could access the account only Louise when she turns eighteen. 

After they were completely out of money, the idea of him with another girl came to her, so she asked him to get a job at the coffee place. He didn’t know why there specifically, Elise visit the place every day until she found her next victim. She followed her around and asked questions when she was satisfied that she was loaded with money she went to him. “I have our next victim, trust me if you do things right will never need more, she is too loaded trust me baby.” He tried to say no to her but in the end, he accepted and that’s how he met Carol one day. He came up with a sad story and everything was going well, she was giving him money without even sleeping with her. But then he did, he slept with her and everything change after that, now he is in Italy and has a family waiting for him in Spain. 

           Present time 

Now Adriano and Michael have all this information about him, and they will tell Carol about it in the family meeting as well as other things that Michael still don’t know. Something Alberto told him and is something probably as important as Carol’s case.  

Soon the meeting room was filled by the family, they called it a meeting room since is more like a dinning room with a big rectangular table chairs for everyone. The room has double doors on two sides, giving access to enter from two sides. When Michael and Adriano walk in they see everyone is seating, Dominic with Alondra in his lap, Alberto with Adriana in his lap, Luke with Mariana in his lap. Jackson with Caroline in his lap, Landon, Adrian, Jake, Boni, Luca, Silverio with his wife Catherine in his lap. The brothers moved back to Italy a while ago, and Kelsey standing by Adriano’s chair. Adriano takes his seat and so does Michael, with Kelsey sitting in Adriano’s lap. This is how meetings go, with the wife's on the husband’s lap. After a few seconds the doors opened and in comes Carol she looks around and frowns, Adriano looks around as well only to notice theirs no more chairs available for her to take a sit. Alberto notice this a smirk or more like an evil grin plasters in his face as he says the next words. “Have Boni sin in Michael’s lap,” Adriano wanted to say something but he knows not to speak back to his father in front of the family.  

After a few seconds of none saying anything and Carol waiting behind Boni’s chair he finally feels uncomfortable. Boni stands and Michael gets nervous at this, he doesn’t want Boni to sit in his lap, but Boni understands so he is not pressuring him. Boni walks and stand by the doors Carol came from “I think is best if I am not at this meeting, this is a family meeting after all.” His voice soft and gentle and even though Luca is not gay he can’t deny Boni is cute. Alberto speaks up “you are family now, you have married into this family, you have to be present at family meetings.” Before Boni can speak up, Luca does “you can seat here” he says making Michael turn to Luca wondering what he meant by here. Boni’s face turn red, ‘this is uncomfortable’ is his thought as he bit his bottom lip feeling nervous.  

Luca gets up from his chair gesturing for Boni to take it, he takes his first step but is stopped by hand grabbing hold of his arm. He turns looking at the arm up to the face of the owner of the hand on his arm only to gasp when he sees is Michael.  “Is fine no need to bother anyone,” is the only thing Michael says before he takes his seat. Boni stands by him not knowing what to do, Michael rolls his eyes before pulling him down to him, Boni eyes widen as he sits in his lap. 

Ready everyone eyes move to Adriano who sits at the head of the table, “hello family to start this family meeting we will open with Leonel background.”
