Mia and Ryan rode their horses which ran as fast as they could and after a long ride, they finally got to the Blood Moon pack in the morning.
“Ryan,” Mia quickly reached out to Ryan who was already heading up the stairs into the palace.“Is something wrong?”
“I need to see Alpha Aiden. At your uncle’s place, he mind-linked me.” Ryan finally confessed why he had hurried them back at Derrick’s place.
“And have you thought of an excuse or a lie to tell him? One that wouldn’t have our heads chopped off our necks?” Mia demanded and Ryan shook his head in disapproval.
“Do you know of anything we could say to him?” Ryan questioned and just like Mia who is always scared, her heart started was beating faster while her knuckles were almost knocking each other.
