Meghan POV

I am awoken when my alarm goes off. I immediately jump out of bed knowing what this day is all about . Therefore any moment that I delay will be of negative harm to me

I quickly have my bed lied and then head towards the bathroom . I don't take much time there. The truth is I am so nervous about how this day will go . Let me hope it goes in a good way. Getting back from the bathroom , I get into the wardrobe to see what I can have as my first day clothes.

I know I have to do everything carefully or else I risk being insulted by Jeff. But God, why did my life have to end like this for sure. Why is it is me who is going through all this . Making sure that am fully done , I get my bag and then head down stairs to waiting Ethan.

“ Wow!" He sighs when he sees me looking up from head to toe for sure making me uncomfortable by just the way he is looking at me like I am some eatable thing that he has been carving for along time and he has finally come across it after such a long time.

“ What ?" I ask him like I don't even get the reason as to why he reacted like that.

“ Don't Tell me you don't understand it , you are the most beautiful person that I have ever set my eyes on and being in this particular suit makes you more stunning than I even thought.

Not knowing how to react to such comments, all I do is to just stare on am sure already red like a tomato by this time . That am very sure. He gets nearer to me leaning to place his lips onto mine but I pull away quickly and hence making me laugh die to the reaction that he makes as a result of my pulling away.

” Come on, I was not meaning any harm . I Just wanted a simple kiss. ' he explains himself to me.

” And that is exactly what the reason is about.. I don't want to get my makei ruined on my first day at work. I don't want to risk anything at all. "

Before he has an opportunity to say anything else, we are interrupted by Jeff getting from upstairs coming next to us.

“ I will be starting the car in less than one minute. " He says looking me up and down like he is really checking me out. He didn't even greet his father or me. For sure Jeff is in his own league and if you want to have your own peace, all you have to do is to ignore him completely and do your own work.

With that , he heads towards the door and then gets out. I trun to go but Ethna instead gets hold of my hand turning me around to face him.

“ Be calm, don't panic" he tells me as he careeses his hand on my cheek in away to comfort me.

” I would really love to but right now , all I have to do is to Rush outside and meet your brother who must already have started tye Car by now.":

I answer him matter of fact .

“ Okay, have a nice first day at work. " He tells me as he leans into me placing a simple kiss on my forehead and then letting me go. I immediately head towards the door turning back to wave to him on more time. The moment I get out of the house, my heart immediately begins to race faster and faster like I have just completed a marathon . Right now onwards , I am going to be with him and Ethan my graduation Angel will not be anywhere near to so that he protects me from his Devil of a brother like ha has been doing.

.My Subconscious glares at me open mouthed when I practically refer to Jeff as a Devil but the truth is it is the name that for sure first him perfectly.

The truth is that man doesn't have a heart..

“ Do you think I am going to Wait for you for ever?" I am broken from my thoughts by his cold voice almosy making me fall to the ground due to fear but guess what , there is a wall in which a fall directly into. Damn it ! I had no idea this place had a wall . However in being kin a realise I have fallen direct into his arms.

My hands land on his toned chest that I can feel through his shirt. s**t! I had no idea he was keeping some impoy treasure in there. But what am I even saying , Useless human like me . Without even thinking about the consequences of it all, my hands automatically caress his chest feeling how toned he is and he has not done anything to me , he has not pushed me away or shouted at me like he does to me every time even when you see as if something is light.

“ What are you still doing here ?" The voice from behind us is what for sure brings me back to my senses or else I had no idea where this was going to end and yet he also dwas not doing anything against me at all. I immediately pull away and unknowingly push Jeff towards the car . He staggers for a few seconds but then manages to get to his feet

Ethan eventually approaches us with something in his hand.

“ It is your girlfriend who seem to never know how to keep time at all " Jeff responds his eyes looking at everything else but me. He turns to open the car door but then he realizes that he doesn't have the car keys.

” You forgot this " Ethan says to him as he hands him the car keys and Jeff takes them nervously something that is not in his personality . Okay from the moment that I came to know him.

“ Are you okay?" Ethan asks his brother when he sees something unsaul of him.

“ What do our mean ? I an perfectly okay. You ,get into tye car ." His says to me his eyes not even lasting a second at me and then he pulls away . Not wanting Ethan to suspect anything at all , I move towards the co driver's side and get into the car for sure not even turning fir a single second ti wave at Ethan. What the hell is wrong with me as well ?

“ Tie the seat belt" Jeff murmurs to me his eyes fixed in the road and then begins the car . We get out of the gate and then begin the journey towards his company which I don't even know where it is located.i have nevy felt so uneasy sitting with a man in the car like I feel right now.

The truth is if it was not for that little Moment that happened between us then I would not be this uneasy at all. I swear sometimes when I look through the front mirror, I spot him looking at me but then he pulls away immediately. Likewise unknowingly ,I find myself gazing at him but I however pull away not wanting him to catch me staring at me.

Finally , we get to the company. At least right now we shall not have have to be enclosed in just a small place like we have to in this car. I open the car door and get out immediately as I wait for him.

“ After me " he orders me which I do immediately. By this time the truth is I am already used to him bossing around. All the workers keep greeting him as we move .

For sure I spot so many girls looking at me in envy . Perhaps many of them have a crush on Jeff and think I have come to steak him away from them. What the hell, that is something that they should not be afraid of. I am not taking away their liver at all. I might have happened to me to fall in love with some one like Jeff. That would only mean digging my own grave.

His good looking can't be ignoy fir sure , he is a very hot gity that any girl vwoui like for himself but the truth is I am not among them. We soon get into the lift and he presses the top floor. We stand in the lift but the truth is I immediately begin feeling a bit hot yet it is usually a cold morning.

Way to begin a new job.
