My Boyfriend's Brother

Take it or leave it.

Meghan POV.

I look from one brother to another brother but none of them is saying a single word. What the hell is happening. Why is it that no one is talking to me . Seeing that one one is answering I move towards Ethan and hold both of his hands and then looking at him.

“ Ethan tell me something , what is your brother saying ?" I ask him looking at him but at first he hestites but then opens his mouth. At first thing comes out of his mouth but then he manages to say ;

“ Come sit down with us ." He says to me holding my hand and then enabling me sit beside him with Jeff siting on the other couch.

“ Look, Meghan, I told my brother all about what happened to you and the . .fact that you don't have money to support your studying . Therefore we have come up with a solution..."

“ You will work in my company for some time and then this will enable you get the money that will support youy studies." Jeff interrupts him elaborating it to me.

When I get to know about it all, I look on not knowing what to do or say. I open my mouth several times trying to say anything but the truth is nothing comes out if my mouth at all.

I don't know what do or say. Working to get money inorder to support my education is a good idea but how am I going to do it with Jeff closely beside me. This can't be, how will I be able to work with him. Imagine I have been living with him for only a few weeks but still right now how will be able to work with him each other day under his command.

“ How is this going to be ?" The words leave my mouth with out even being able to take them back .

“ You are going to work as my brother's Secretary for some time " Ethan says .

“ But..."

“ Take it or leave it!" Jeff interrupts me and with that he goes away towards his bedroom.

Damn it! How much evil can tgis man be. Ethan immediately pulls me closer into him and I land straight into his arms.

“ Everything will be okay. I mean it , everything will eventually be okay." He says soothingly to me as he tabs on back in away to comfort me.

“ My brother is agood man , you will learn when you get closer to him. He just loves teasing others but if you get to know him, you will definitely know how good he is." Ethan goes in to comfort me but the truth is I don't know if to believe him.

The truth is with Jeff, from the moment that I first set my eyes on him, he has been nothing but disagreeable . So when some one tells me that he is kindhearted , I don't know if to believe him or not . But with Jeff, if you are not strongi enough , I am telling you it would be very hard for you to stay near him for even a single second.

After a few minutes however, we pull away from the hug but still sit closely next to each other.

“ So when am I beginning to work for him ?" I ask Ethan still trying to take in every thing that they just told me.

“ Any time that you want. But with me , I think the earlier is the better. " He tells me.

“ You are a very bright girl and so intelligent. You know you were the best in last semester. You will be of great importance to him and thus he will work with you very well. " He goes on.

“ I know you are comforting me , we both know what your brother is . He is ever tough. " I reply .

“ Okay, you win. " He answers kissing me on the forehead a gesture that makes giggle. At least I get a little at ease.

“ So when are you heading back to campus ?" I ask him feeling suddenly sad that am not going to campus.

“ The day after tomorrow, but don't be sad .You know if I hsd the money I would help you get to campus. But we shall do we can to helly you. " He tells me ..I know he is sincere about it . Ethan can do anything Just to make me happy about it .

”No problem, I know everything will be Okay ." I say.

The result of the day went on just like that. I had never been so worried like I was this day. The next day I was going to go work with Jeff, it was like I was heading to my death pit . I ma actually not exaggerating anything at all. I am being factual about everything that am saying.

Ethan insists that he takes me to the mall inorder to buy me some clothes that he thinks are fit for the new job that am to do at such a very big company that is well known. I later came to know that it is Jeff who gave him all the money Wich we use for all the shopping that we do. At around 5:00pm, we come back home all exhausted after the heavy shopping. You can't believe all the shopping that we did.

At night, I hadly sleep thinking about how my life has suddenly changed in just a blink of an eye to an extent that tomorrow I will be officially beginning my first job. But for sure, I have no idea if I will be able to even last day tgerey based on how I know Jeff . Any way you never know things change.

I wish my mother was here to help comfort me.
