KIRA'S POV:-
I went into my room and sat on the bed. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialled my mom. I hadn't called her and I knew she must be worried about me. My mom was always worried about me. "Hey Mom. How are you?" I asked as soon as she picked up the call.
"I am fine honey. Tell me how are you doing? Do you feel better away from here?" She asked. I rolled my eyes over her over protectiveness.
"Mom, I just landed here about an hour ago. It will take time. But yeah, I am feeling a bit better after meeting Roy and Riva." I replied and I heard a soft sigh that escaped my mother's lips.
"Mom, don't worry about me. I'll be fine here." I reassured her.
"Okay, you better rest than. I have some work to do. You stay safe and Kira, no matter whatever has happened, we are with you. We will always support you." She said and I smiled. I knew my parents were the most supportive and loving parents anyone could ask for. They have supported me in each and every decision I have taken in my life. Whether it was right or wrong, my parents have never stopped me from anything.
"I know Mom. Thank you for understanding."I said and hung up. I laid on the bed and was thinking about whatever had happened with me. That dufus Tony had cheated on me. I could not believe it at first when my friends form college and everyone told me about him.
But when my friend, Rex showed me his pictures and took me there just so I could see with my own eyes, whether it was true or not. My eyes literally bulged out of the sockets when I saw him f*****g that b***h. She had been after Tony for years.
I heard a knock on my bedroom door. That knock pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Come in." I said as I already knew my cousins would be the one who could dare to disturb me. Riva peaked her head in and gave me a cheeky smile.
"I said, come in." I said in an annoyed tone. They both came into the room and laid beside me on the bed. I was in the middle, Riva was laying on my left and Roy was on my right.
"You know what, I think he never deserved you at all. He was a jerk anyways. I can remember how he used to check me out." Roy said and we both snapped our heads in his direction. He had a smirk plastered on his face. I and Riva exchange looks then broke into laughter fits. For minutes, we kept laughing hysterically. Then they both cuddled with me and I also welcomed them. I needed them. And as always, they were here for me.
"What are you planning to do tonight?" Riva whispered her question.
"Nothing big. Sit into my room, watch Lucifer on Netflix with you both. Or maybe, watch Vampire Academy with you both. What do you guys say?" I asked and they both shook their heads. I frowned because they had told me, they would be home with me all night.
"We have a better plan. How about we go to a beach party?" Riva asked me. I sighed and forced a smile on my lips.
"Don't cancel your plans for me. I am good at home. You two go and have fun." I replied and they both shook their heads again.
"Nope, you have to come with us. It will be fun. You remember Sebastian? Our classmate." Roy asked me. I took a few minutes to remember that name again.
"Yes, Sebastian, the cool guy. How can I ever forget him. He is a sweetheart." I replied with a grin on my face.
