KIRA'S POV:-
"Yes, Sebastian, the cool guy. How can I ever forget him." I replied with a grin on my face.
"Yes, that same Sebastian. It's his birthday. Almost the whole town is invited and because of you, we are actually part of his VIP group." Roy replied.
"Come on Kira. It will be fun. And it's a beach party. You have always loved beach parties." Riva said in a pleading tone. I raised both of my hands in defeat.
"Alright fine. I will go with you both but you have to help me pick a perfect dress for me tonight." I said and they both nodded their heads.
"Sure, we'll do that." They both replied in union. They both hugged me again. They crawled out of the bed and opened my luggage. I turned on the TV while they were choosing a dress for me.
"As you can see viewers, Kira Alfredo is no longer in a relationship. She has broken up with her boyfriend. Good news to all the boys out there and bad news for the girls. Because you all have to keep an eye on your boyfriends." An anchor read the news. Of course, the news started spreading like fire in the woods. I was not just an ordinary woman. I was a model and a YouTube star.
"How fast they all know." Roy asked as he looked up at the TV screen.
"It happened because I changed my f*******: relationship status. From "in a relationship to single." But for God's sake, I have also added a caption saying, I am not looking for any relationships." I replied and rolled my eyes over their stupidity.
"Come on, don't ruin your mood. Look, I found a perfect dress for you tonight." Riva said and held a dress high in front of my eyes. It was a lavender color short dress. It was backless and had strips on either side. It was very stunning. I was sure the deep neck would show half of my breasts. It was a gift from a designer I had worked for a few months ago. I had not opened or looked at the dress.
"Okay, I definitely like this one." I said and they both shared a high five.
It was evening when I got up and stepped into the bathroom. I filled the tub with hot water. I added some soap and my favorite lavender fragrance into the tub. I hopped into the tub. The hot water soothed my tensed muscles. I washed my hair and my body. Once I was done, I stepped out of the bathtub with a towel wrapped around my body.
I dried my hair and curled them. I applied a little darker makeup. I stepped out of the bathroom and wore my dress. It hugged my curvy body like a second skin. I chose to wear flat footwear. I did not want to fall into the sand on the beach. I quickly painted my nails and stepped out of my bedroom.
I went downstairs where Roy was ready and waiting for us both. "Someone is looking stunning tonight." Roy complimented me and whistled at me.
"Thanks handsome. I see girls will jump into the ocean tonight seeing your handsome face." I complimented back.
We both bid our goodbyes and went to the car. We hopped in and waited for Riva to join us. After almost thirty minutes she came out of the house. We both thanked God. Roy started the car and we drove off.
After an hour or so, Roy parked his car and we all hopped out. I felt a little uncomfortable because my dress reached my upper thigh. It was very short.
"What is it?" Roy asked as he noticed my uneasiness.
"Nothing, the dress is too short. I hope people will not think of me as a stripper." I replied.
"You will be fine. In fact, everyone knows you here. They will be damned to see you here." Roy replied and I nodded my head with a smile.
We went to the party. Riva was having trouble walking in the heels. I was glad to change my mind at the last minute.
Roy led me towards Sebastian. He smiled cheekily as I walked towards him.
"It must be my lucky day. Kira Alfredo is at my birthday party. Roy, you just gave me the biggest gift tonight." Sebastian said. He hugged me and I hugged him back.
"I am so glad to see you here Kira. It's been a long time since we last met." He said.
