They were unsure, to say the least.  “Please, sit down.” I said, gesturing to the large blanket that was covering the grass. Wolves weren’t necessarily strangers to eating outside, but only the lower ranked wolves still did that. Lunas and alphas got their own table to eat off of, with certainly a lot better food than I was providing them with.  Still, they sat down when I did. Though these weren’t the most powerful lunas in the kingdom, they had still all shown up in their finest clothes and jewellery. Humans wouldn’t even have laid down a blanket or tablecloth to cover the grass, but that was a concession I made to spare their clothing.
