The Luna Queen

  Early in the morning, Farah and the twins went towards the palace to present to the Luna Queen. But they were briefed first by the royal secretary on what to do and not to do during the meeting with the Queen. The royal secretary also scanned their stuff, and designs that is fitting for the Queen’s choices.

  The three were waiting in the salon, with the designs that they are going to present laid out on the table. They made sure everything is set before the Queen arrive.

  The twins looked like they were very used to it, they were pro at this business while Farah was nervous as hell.

“Are you alright dear?”Mylene asked Farah.

“Y-Yes miss.”Farah answered.

“Don’t worry Farah. We’ll be doing all the talking. Her majesty has her own servants to help her. All you have to do is to sit there, take down notes and look pretty.”Myriam said.

  Then the door in the salon opened, and several servants came in. And the last one to walk inside the salon was the Luna Queen. She was a tall, slim and very beautiful, wearing a light yellow summer dress. Her strawberry blonde hair was neatly pulled in a tight bun. Her eyes were the brightest blue, framed with thick eyelashes.

  They bowed their heads as soon as the Queen was near enough.

“Greetings your majesty.”They greeted.

“Lady Myriam, Lady Mylene how nice of you to accept my invitation.”The Queen said.

“It’s our pleasure your majesty.”The twins said.

  The Queen smiled and her eyes fell on Farah.

“And who is this?”She asked.

  Farah bowed her head.

“My name is Farah Fowler your majesty. I am the Baronesses’ assistant.”Farah said.

“Assistant? Here I thought she is you model.”The Queen said, chuckling.

“Shall we start your majesty?”Mylene asked.

“Sure! I am actually looking forward to see your designs!”The Queen chirped.

“We have some designs that you can choose from, your majesty.”Myriam said.

  Farah then guided the Queen towards the table where the designs are laid out. The Queen looked at them, picking one design after another, looking at them closely.  

  The Queen took her sweet time looking through the designs. And a few minutes later, the Queen picked seven designs.

“I love these designs. I want you to make them.”The Queen said.

  The twins grinned.

“That’s great your majesty. Let us take your measurements then.”Myriam said.

  Then with the help of her servants, the twins began taking the Queen’s measurements, while Farah sat on the couch listing the Queen’s measurements.

  After taking the Queen’s measurements they were invited to have tea in the garden.

“You have a very beautiful garden your majesty.”Farah commented.

  The Queen grinned.

“Thank you dear. This is what I love in this palace. When my husband first brought me here, this garden is what really caught my interest. Since then I made sure that this garden is well taken care of.”The Queen said.

“This place is perfect.”Farah said.

“My husband mentioned that the royal garden in Aragon is more beautiful than this one.”The Queen said.

“No one has seen the garden for decades your majesty.”Mylene said.

“Since the fall of the royals, the castle has been locked and no one even the council cannot enter.”Myriam said.

“That’s unfortunate. I didn’t get the chance to meet the king and princess. But they said the princess’ beauty was ethereal. “The Queen responded.

“Actually no one among us had seen her your majesty. We were born a few decades after they were killed.”Mylene said.

  Then Farah noticed the Queen shrugged, with a bit of sneer. Farah has a keen eye on reading someone’s character. And she thinks the Queen is acting a bit shady, and base on how she talk about the princess, she looks like she’s harbouring some jealousy.

  After their tea, the Queen offered to tour them around the castle. But even if the castle offers the most beautiful paintings, ornaments, decors, Farah’s mind still lingers towards the garden.

  What’s in that garden that made her want to go back there? The same questions kept running through Farah’s mind until they went back to where they are staying.

“The Queen is just so lovely.”Mylene said.

“I agree sister. She’s pretty and nice. Did you see her body? It’s to die for.”Myriam gushes.

“Is it true that the vampire princess was the most beautiful in Aragon?”Farah suddenly asked the twins.

  The twins looked at each other before pursing their lips.

“Dad said she was. He said her white hair made her look like a goddess.”Myriam said.

“Yeah, that’s why she has a lot of suitors. I heard that Alpha King Mason was one of those suitors.”Mylene whispered.

  That caught Farah’s interest.

“The Alpha King liked the princess?”She asked.

“Well yeah. Who wouldn’t? Aside from being beautiful, she’s powerful too.”Myriam said.

  The Alpha King liking the princess maybe is the reason why the Queen looked indifferent towards the princess. Well, who wouldn’t? Her husband once chase after another woman’s hand in marriage.

  Now she can understand her.

“Let’s rest before we get to work. We have seven gowns for her majesty for the King’s birthday. This should be the most fabulous among all other fabulous.”Myriam said.

“I agree sister. Her majesty will be the most beautiful among all the guests.”Mylene said.

“I’m sure the king will fall in love with her over and over again.”Farah said,

“Indeed!” The twins exclaimed.

  Meanwhile the Queen meets with the King in his office. As usual the king was seated behind his desk, reading documents.

“I have sent the invites for your birthday darling. And they all replied that they are going, well except for the Duke Ramiro.”She said.

  The king looked up from his documents and looked at his Queen.

“Did he decline?”He asked.

“Yes. He said he’ll be  taking care of more important things.”The Queen told her King.

“How about the council?”The King asked again.

“Sylvia and Silvanus confirmed, but the rest declined.”

She answered.

“And why is that? They wanted a treaty with me and yet they cannot attend my party?”Alpha King Mason snarled.

  The Queen approached the king and sat on his lap.

“Apparently my king, I heard that two council members were murdered.”The Queen said, and her husband looked at her.

“Murdered?” He asked and the Queen nodded.

“Yes my king. The killing has been going on for some time now. It all started with the tax collectors, and now the council.”She told the king.

  Alpha Mason scoffed.

“That is problem indeed. Let them skip the festivities I don’t want them to bring their bad luck to this kingdom.”He said.

“If you wish my King.”The Queen said.

“How was your meeting with the designers?”He asked.

  The Queen grinned.

“It was marvellous! No doubt they are quite famous in the fashion industry. Their designs are beautiful and unique! I’m sure I’ll be the most beautiful in the festivities for you my king.”She said.

  The king smiled and he planted a kiss on the Queen’s forehead, the he looked at her in the eye

“You will always be the most beautiful to me Renata.”He said.

“Oh Mason.”She whispered, before she crashes her lips on his.

  Their lips moved in synch, as they let their emotions guide them. After a century of being together, the King and Queen are still so much in love. But despite being together for so long, they haven’t given a chance to be parents.

  For some reason, the Queen cannot conceive a child even if the healers cannot see anything wrong with her. They longed to have a child but they weren’t fortunate. The lycanthrope council are getting impatient; they wanted to see an heir to secure the throne.

  When the Queen pulled away from him, she stood up and she smirked.

“I’ll take a shower upstairs in our room. Care to join me my king?”She asked seductively.

  The alpha king smirked.

“Lead the way my love.”He said standing up.

  Then they left the King’s office, and sprint towards their private chamber.
