Farah smiled in amazement with such sight. She never thought the garden maze could be more beautiful. But she frowned when she remembered that she was walking earlier. Then how come she was still in the same maze? She also noticed that the statue of the howling wolf was gone, and in replace was a door, a shiny silver door with a moon design in the middle.
“What the freaking hell?”Farah muttered.
The door really looks pretty in her eyes. The wind picks up again and it’s like it was urging her to enter the door. She walked towards the door and inspects it. It was just a single door standing in the middle of the maze.
“Farin...”
“Farin...”
“Farin...”
Farah heard the name again. Who is this Farin person that she keeps on hearing her name? Farah took a deep breath and grabbed the door knob. Just by touching the door knob she felt the warmth of being home
Farah twisted the door knob and pushed the door open. She slowly went inside the door, and like magic she was in another place. When the door slammed close behind her, her heart began to hammer against her chest.
She was scared, she was nervous. What has she got herself into? The wind once again moved and whistled, it’s like it was urging her to walk. Since she had no choice, she did what she felt was right at the moment. She walked towards a certain direction, the direction where the wind is telling her to go.
Farah was getting impatient of walking the long corridor, but then she saw something shiny at the end of it. Farah thought that finally, this tiring journey is coming to an end, so she ran towards it.
But when she was near enough, she halted and she realized that the shiny thing was in fact a huge silver cage. And inside the silver cage was a huge black wolf curled in the middle, sleeping. It looks like it was as big as a horse and its fur were black as the night. She has never seen a wolf like this before.
Farah felt a pull that made her want to run her fingers through the wolf’s fur. She wants to feel how fluffy it is, she wants to hug it like a big stuffy. But the pull was not just about it. She feels like she knows the wolf. She felt like she have seen the wolf before but she cannot tell.
Her feet moved on its own, and the next thing she knows she’s in front of the cage. She was about to touch the silver bars when the wolf opened its eyes. Its reddish eyes are now staring back at her.
The wolf growled and stood up. Now Farah can tell that it was as huge as a horse. The wolf began growling at her showing its huge and sharp canines. The sight in front of her is enough to make her run for the hills but, surprising she’s calm and she actually felt happy.
Farah smiled, and the wolf stopped growling. It tilted its head, as if it’s curious of her. The wolf walked closer but not enough to touch the silver bars, and as if something in her heart urged her to touch the wolf’s muzzle.
The moment her hands touched the wolf’s muzzle, she felt an electric jolt that ran from her fingertips to her heart. She felt as if she found something that she was looking for, she felt whole. She looked at the wolf again and it looked like it was feeling the same feeling she did.
“Why are you here? Have you been in this cage for a very long time?”Farah asked.
The wolf tilted it head once again, and it made Farah giggle.
“Can you understand me?” Farah asked again.
The wink picks again and it whistled as if it’s telling her to touch the silver bars. Giving into what the wind is telling her, she touched the silver bars. And upon touching it, she felt a static coming from her fingers, and it flowed towards the silver bars.
The wolf looked scared and concerned at the same time, especially when there was a light coming from Farah’s hands. The light grew bigger and it engulfed them.
When Farah opened her eyes, she noticed that the cage was gone. And the wolf was standing in the middle of the room, looking at her with wide eyes.
“It’s gone. The cage is gone.”Farah mumbled looking at her hands.
Then she looked at the wolf and smiled.
“I guess you’re free.”Farah said smiling.
The wolf yipped and it suddenly launched at Farah, and began licking her face. Farah chuckled at the wolf’s actuation. It then began prancing around her with its tongue hanging out it mouth, doing a little happy dance.
“I can tell that you are happy.”Farah said.
The wolf stopped prancing and it looked at Farah with its tongue still hanging out. Farah and the wolf stared at each other and it felt right. Farah walked towards the wolf, and when she was standing in front of the huge wolf she run her fingers through its fur.
“You are so soft.”Farah said.
The wolf purred and leaned into her touch.
“Can I keep you?”Farah asked and she launched herself on the wolf hugging it.
Farah felt her heart swell in happiness, she cannot describe it. She hugged the wolf and dipped her face on its soft fur. Farah was enjoying the moment with the wolf, that she didn’t notice the wolf shift.
Farah suddenly felt different. Gone was the fluffy fur, and it was replaced with something hard. Farah pulled away and she was surprised to see the wolf gone, and instead there was a man. A man with a shoulder length black hair, reddish coloured eyes, and half of his face covered with stubble.
Farah stepped away from the man, looking around for the wolf.
“Who are you? Where is the wolf?”Farah asked the man.
Then her eyes went from the man’s face down to his bare torso, six pack washboard abs, and the V line that disappeared under the waistband of his pants. Farah had to swallow her saliva that’s building up in her mouth.
Damn, this man is a fine piece of art, Farah thought. The man standing in front of her looks really handsome and hot. If she thought Lucca Ramiro and Hades Beauford were handsome, this man is something else. She even thought of running her hand over that perfectly sculpted abs. And the V line, she was curious at what it looks like down there without the pants.
Farah shook her head, throwing away all those dirty thoughts in her mind. She needs to get herself together. She looked at the man again and she finds him familiar, as well as his aura.
“W-Who are you? Where is the wolf?”She asked.
The man looked at his hands and then to Farah.
“You changed me back.”The man said.
“Changed you back?”She asked and the man nodded.
“I am the wolf, and I have been in my wolf form for so long I cannot remember. Damn I miss my hands.”The man said.
Farah squinted her eyes at the man, still cannot pinpoint how he seems familiar to her.
“I’m Farah. What’s your name?”She asked.
The man looked at her with his reddish eyes.
“My name’s Mason. Mason Nighthowl.”
